yyYYYEEEEAH!!! I always wanted him in a Thor movie somewhere even if it isn't as Thor himself. Guy is...a guitar god and SHOULD play a god.:woot:

In a drinking scene!!! :wow:

Thor needs at least one drinking scene.

Oh hell yeah! I'd totally be down with that. Drinking contest! :woot:

Why not?
After all, everybody knows Thor is the God of Metal:

ha. Amusing. I like stage diving Thor. :woot:

what about that Ronan dude in Stargate Atlantis? I noticed he's tall and if he works out some more really would look good I think

I find it funny that some of the same people that say don't put wrestlers (like Triple H) in superhero movies want The Rock to be Captain Marvel or Black Adam.

I think Hunter could pull off Thor. He has the build you need for the role and he does have the whole Viking look down with out even trying. You are not going to fin too many main streem actors that will have the body for to be Thor. Any one of the major stars will have to wear a rubber suit o pull it off.

People have a bias against wrestlers because they fail to realize that apart of their job is acting.

LOL I wanted 2 have Brock Lesnar play Eddie Brock in :spidey:-3 but looks alone doesn't cut it

What does any of that have to do with acting ability? Were you convinced by Triple H's bit part in Blade: Trinity that he can carry a 150M movie? Maybe it was that role back in the day on Pacific Blue. Perhaps some of those entertaining DX skits. Comparing Triple H to The Rock in terms of being considered for a role is ridiculous. Rock has far more experience and has been the lead in a number of projects, garnering numerous respectable/favorable reviews for his acting. It's not even close between the two and I'd love to see Johnson as Black Adam.

These characters will hardly ever fully resemble the build that they have in the books. In casting Thor, it's a much better option to find someone has some legit acting chops with a large enough frame to pack some muscle on with the proper training regiment, rather than selecting a guy who has the physicality but questionable (at best) acting skills.

There's definitely an acting component to wrestling (in terms of establishing the character), but getting a paycheck signed by Vince is hardly sufficient to make someone a proper choice to be the lead in a big-budget film.

I can see him if he buffs up a bit. Still tho he looks too old for a 19-20 year old.

Thor shouldn't be a young 'godling' :p

Well I just thought of who Ronan reminds me of. Mythica's (Game online) Thor, looks alot like Ronan.

Lesnar would have rocked as Brock, who's bloody idea was it to put that annoying bloke Topher Grace in Spiderman 3, anyway?

I am one of the few who thinks Triple H would OWN as Thor. It would be a huge mistake if they don't cast him as Thor. Thor is extremely muscular, no one else can fit the role as perfect as he can. And I am NOT a Triple H fan.

HHH would NOT be a good choice for Thor. Maybe for a cheesey tv show, but, not for a multi million dollar movie.

As for a young actor, the kid who was in Two Towers in the Aragorn scene at Helms Deep, would probably by now fit the Young Thor.

I'm reading the script and somehow doubt Triple H could pull this off. I also doubt Marvel would cats him if he couldn't do it so we'll see.

It's epic...and I'm not very far into it. This is a huge film. I'm not gonna spoil anything though. It'll probably take me some time to actually read it all the way. I'm tired.
