I am joining the Gerard Butler bandwagon if he doesn't ask pricey salary. He has quite a star power & for those who's thinking Brits doing Avengers stuff, why not him?

I think Brits are more appropriate for Thor than Americans, and Americans are most appropriate for Cap. 6'2" Butler as Thor, 6'0" American as Cap, and 6'0" Robert Downey JR with high heel as Iron Man. Perfect.

It's funny that people are starting to tout dark haired actors to play Thor.

They're sure going to look funny with bleach blonde hair and dark eyebrows.

I remember the days when people used to pitch natural blondes on this thread.

If you were speaking of me well I am in favor of unknown actor and possibly a Scandinavian.That would be perfect.

But let say they have to pick a celebrity (which I' m almost certain thats what s gonna happen Now that Marvel is rich)I rather see butler or Welling than Triple H just because his hair are yellow.

Definately agreed on the Triple H thing - no way in hell should he be allowed anywhere near the role. The guys nose is so huge the movie would have to be shown on IMAX. t:

Good point... because Hollywood hasn't figured out how to match eyebrows with hair color. I mean dyes and coloring agents have no effect on eyebrows afterall...

Right now he's one of the main characters in 'Generation Kill' on HBO. Dude is pretty good. (I was actually picturing him as Cap...but Thor would work if he does some steroids.) He's the tallest guy in the picture.

Actually I think he would make a better Cap then Thor. Just look at this link for Jared Padelicki(Supernatural)Well I will say this he definitely looks the part. Just take a look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xyH3yyOs4WI Starbuck is just added bonus. I also suggested him for Supes but I also think he would make a good Thor! He is 6 foot 4 and a lot bigger than i originally thought. Take a look and tell me what you think?
