TOO OLD!!! And CAN'T ACT!!![/SIZE]

Let's not suggest any wrestlers, please.

Wrestlers are fine for Superhero movies...

JUST NOT IN STARRING ROLES!!!!!

For example, in a Captain America movie, I wouldn't mind Masterman being played by a pro-wrestler; he's not a big line guy, he's just a bruiser Captain America has to fight.

Henchmen as wrestlers= okay
lead heroes and lead villains played by wrestlers= Not okay

i think that HHH would be fantastic as thor, but he would need to practise thors way of speaking!:sym:

sorry didn't mean to post that twice.accidentally hit the post button before i could go advanced.

I dissagree.

He's a terrible actor and an overrated wrestler.

He's also very average in height for a wrestler.

THOR opens July 16, 2010

Has he acted before? You can't really count his appearance in blade trinity as acting. It was more of a cameo appearance.:nono:

Why would you suggest someone with no acting experience to base your choice on?

They do when they've been to school for acting.

He had a great deal of lines/screen time in that movie, somewhat equivalent to Parker Porsey's.

One thing I think also takes away from him cosmetically is his nose.

Its too big.

Well if everyone one thought that no one would get a chance in life.Think about it.......................:wow:

We arnt casting directors. Triple H isnt going to audition for us. so we have nothing to discuss. You chose him because hes buff and blonde and thats a stupid reason to pick someone. Plus Thor isnt the kinda movie rookie actors should be necessarily cutting their teeth on.

You can definitely tell from Blade III that he's no good as Thor. I can anyway.

To HHH and Nash for Thor, I say.... Hell to the NOOOO!!!!

The average movie goer isn't going to rush to the theatre of either of these 2 guys play Thor. They'll think it's some cheesy flick. And HHH sounds horrible when he speaks.

The average movie goer will watch anything :cwink:

The more cultured movie goer will watch the film because of Branagh.

I'm thinking Nash is too old.

To me he's just a bit weathered.

I definitely don't read him as 50, the oldest he looks is 40.

Wow has this turned into a kevin nash thread jesus man we get it u want kevin nash but the man has been in some of the crappiest movies ever made and let me run down a few for you ninja turtles 2 the punisher Dead or alive plus hes 50!!! and im sorry but he can't act just because he can deliever a decent promo in the ring every now and then does not mean he can act im sorry for the rant but I was looking at the past couple of pages and all i could see was kevin nash suggested for one of my fav. marvel heroes and it was getting old.

Depending on how they go with the characterization of Thor.

A violent brute who has been exiled to earth to calm him down? Sure. It's a good look.

A regal prince sent to save earth from its own evil? not so much.

I'm having trouble believing you actually took the time to read through the last couple of pages, because you actually bothered to list the films Kevin's been in and you're using them as a basis for questioning my confidence in his acting skills.

I know Kevin was in those films.

I know Kevin is 50.

I know Kevin can act.

If you took the time to actually read through the thread you'd understand why I know this.

Very good way of putting it, and we are in agreement.

Here's an interesting representation of Thor in that "Regal majesty".

Its by 19th century artist Marten Eskil Winge...
