Snikt, since when was the size of the character a priority? Wolverine is supposed to be short, but Hugh Jackman is like 6 ft something. Physical stuff doesn't matter if the actor can properly embody the character. And Thor was portrayed as this massive, towering and intimidating figure, how boring would that be for a movie? Where's the human side that people are actually meant to relate to on some level? While I agee that physicality can be important, it isn't if it comes at the cost of depth of character.
And with the accent thing, I meant british or scottish because they seem to be the standard accent for Fantasy type movies, eg LOTR, Narnia. Could you imagine if Frodo had Elijah Wood's normal voice?
