Skars is my top guy, but honestly, I'd not be disappointed with Hunnam at all.

Hunnam for Iron Fist! He would slip into that role PERFECTLY.

im wit you Lobo... i also think its too early to count out skars.. unless Marvel or Skars comes out as says he/I is not in the running i am taking it all as just talk.

Am I in the minority when I say that I actually enjoyed Eric Kramer's Thor (alas the only thing I could find to be enjoyable about the Incredible Hulk Returns)?

Sure, the comic book purist would have a field day disecting the characterisation but I kinda liked the whole beer-swilling, hard-fighting swagger of his performance.

I don't actually remember much of his performance. I do like the fur over his shoulders, though. They should make it a reddish brown and put it on the costume for the upcoming movie, over the cape.

I have to stay I admire the guys excitement over thor, sometimes its easier to support a guy who wants it then a guy who's like... " i had a meeting", "we'll see" as he goes back to his regular check or worries about being typecasted!!

Should we not want someone who WANTS to take the 5pic deal without worrying if they want to abandon the character after thor and the avengers?

Yeah JPM may not be the strongest of the actors on the poll BUT we have seen GREAT actors give bad or ok performances based on the director. With KB behind the helm I believe he can take an average actor and make him look good. JMO.... back to the debate and Skars bandwagon... or is it the Hunnam bandwagon this month? (LOL, i cant keep up...)

There's no Hunnam bandwagon, only Skars. KB can very likely take an average actor and make him good, so imagine what he can do with someone who is ALREADY very good

I, too, admire JPR enthusiasm, and I know he'd love to be Thor, but personally I'd rather see him as another Asgardian.

RDJ is tiny, everyone on the list would tower over him. Skars is 6'4 and probably between 230-240, and is a very good actor.

You dont have to be a Actor like Robert DeNiro to play Thor on the big Screen,so i would be fine with Rogers in the Main Role ,he has the Perfect Physics and enough acting talent to deliver the Thor typical One Liners.
But an Actor in the class of Edward Norton is needed when it comes to the Role of Donald Blake.

look, i get it... more than likely skars will be thor due to the CAA move.

I just hope he is in it for the long haul and NOT just thor and the avengers (which will almost be shot back to back).

I have a feeling If thor crosses the $150 mill mark in 2-3 wks we will get a sequel (enchantress and the executioner!!).

Then the real fun can begin, more hammertime, less origin stuff.
