Some of you people don't think. First of all CC is only 5'8, how the hell is that going to look if he plays Hogun, and 2nd, casting is already calling for an Asian male to play the part.

He may or maynot be auditioning for Hogun but there are plenty of times they cast for a certain race but if someone can pass offf as being that race they will take them. And what does 5'8 has to do with anything? You think they are going to stick with 100 % source material from the comic down to each character height?

Maybe you should, too. No need to be rude over people suggesting that an actor in the running for a role play a part that he generally looks like. This may be a shock to you, but the height of Clifton Collins Jr is not up there with "Who is the President of the United States" in terms of things everyone should be expected to know.

5'8" or not, I'd imagine they could pull some trickery to make him look bigger if Hogun was the role he ended up playing. Or maybe they'd decide the character isn't well-known enough for tallness to be essential. He likely won't be Hogun, but I'd say it's as fair a guess as any, and unless you have something better to offer, there's no need to be smarmy towards the people suggesting it.
