Blake had a private practice, actually. He was his own boss. Then he lost it due to neglect (from being Thor all the time) and then he went to work for a non-profit clinic, where his boss was a black dude named Jeffries, and then he worked for Tony Stark for a little while.

But that's all moot because Blake is supposedly not in the film at all.

HOWIE LONG is absolutely Thor! Same size, same jaw...did the movie Firestorm a few years ago.

Inundate FOX SPORTS with those emails! Tell him to tear up the NFL gig and do the movie!! :yay:

I would do immediately, if it weren't for the fact that A) I don't know him, or have contact with him. B) Think he's a terrible choice and C) The role was already cast months ago, but a much better suited guy, looks wise and acting wise. :P

Wow. Talk about unexpected post.

Howie Long? you mean "Defensive all star turned Radio Shack ****e" Howie Long? 4realz?

As much as I try, I can't picture Howie Long with shoulder-length golden locks! (And believe me, I really don't WANT to! Lol!)
Yeah, That was pretty out from left field, especially that Thor has been already cast months ago. I may not be completely on board with Hemsworth yet, but I bet he'll surprise me when the movie comes out.

i want that to be the last thing you see before you go to sleep tonight. :awesome:

Hey if we gonna cast guys who are not actors but who might resemble the characters...what about Triple H for Thor?

 GTFO with that ****, *****!

I also seem to recall Wizard having him as their casting choice for Cap many years ago.

There was a time, way back when I was contemplating a career in comics, that I actually found reading it [and getting a bit of an insight to the 'behind the scenes' stuff] to be more enjoyable than reading actual comics to be honest, Corp.

Sad, I know.

Oh, I read it for years as well, don't worry. Hate like mine for Wizard doesn't come from hearsay. ;)

I've gotta admit that Wizard is one of my guilty pleasures.

Yes it is true but I enjoy all the colorful glossy pages.:woot:

I used to like reading it at work where I didn't have internet access. I just got tired of already knowing all the big info way before they even printed it.

Every once in a while Wizard will still produce something worth while... but most of it is very "meh". agree with marcvadar about the colorful pages. all the pretty images have to count for something right?

p.s. has anyone else noticed that whenever wizard does an article on a comic... they only show images and panels from the comics that feature half naked females?

They're appealing to their readership. That's part of why I stopped enjoying Wizard: it's a very cynical publication. As I read and otherwise expanded my knowledge of comics as a whole, it became obvious that Wizard was solely interested in covering effectively whatever the big two told them to. They're a mouthpiece for whatever fad is looming on the horizon--nothing more. Sure, the comic websites around now are much the same, but at least those don't ask me for money.

i do remember geeking out a few years ago when my nephew got me the Wizard "summer exclusive" issue for christmas... the one that was filled with a bunch of new TDK images of the joker and talked about the "upcoming teen titans movie" and "what robots will appear in TF2". that was a great issue.

Last Wizard I bought was the Batman Begins preview issue.

An unrelated question but how is Full sail? I was thinking of taking the film program there in Orlando.
