Oh, I was flipping through the Encyclopedia Mythologica last night and I got to Brunnhilde's entry. Apparently, it's still unclear whether she's been resurrected or not. The Valkyrie who's been seen around the Marvel universe for the past year or so and who joined She-Hulk's Lady Liberators is actually Samantha Parrington. Go figure.

Thanks Corp, Yeah I've been wondering about this Valkyrie. I seem to remember her saying something about Valhalla. but if it's Sam and not Brunhilde she still might be refering to the old Asgard's Valhalla.

I can't remember where, but there was a little story about Valkyrie trying to get a dead soldier to go with her to Valhalla, but since the soldier wasn't Norse and just thought she was a myth, she chose to go to Heaven instead or something. That Valkyrie seemed like Brunnhilde to me, but I guess Parrington's pretty similar to Brunnhilde as Valkyrie.

Oh well. The only sucky part of learning that the current Valkyrie is Parrington is that I doubt anyone's even going to bother bringing Brunnhilde back if Parrington can impersonate her so well. Brunnhilde never really played a huge role in Thor's comics.

About 2 years ago they first had the Figure planned out but they never made it.

Yeah the only other Thor related figures coming out are a Secret Wars anniversary twin pack of Thor and Enchantress and an Enchantress Superhero Squad.

It's making me wonder just when we'll See Thor: Defining Moments.
