B, you're not wrong but neither am I. You make good points, but the fact of the matter is Bisping has been cruising through the better part of his for a couple of years now compiling wins by selecting the 'safer' opponent (which have placed him in trouble a couple times when they never should have in the first place). And when he finally challenges a top-notch and/or recognizable name, he can't pull out a win to propel him into title contention. Whether it's lack of heart, or perhaps a brain, Bisping hasn't won when it matters.
Bisping has an opportunity to justify his ranking (which I believe is outrageously generous) against Belfort. If he wins, then he deserves commendation for his recent outings. If he loses, I guess that'll pretty much confirm what I've always viewed Bisping as in his career.
