CroCop's first fight back is rumored to be a rematch with the man who completely destroyed his aura of awesomeness and badassery... Gabriel Gonzaga!

Really scared for CroCop's brain, but excellent matchmaking by Joe Silva.
It's actually a terrible match up since Gonzaga will most likely wrestle and elbow him again and if Mirko gets back up, head kick his face off again.

When I said excellent matchmaking, I didn't mean it was excellent for Mirko, I meant it was excellent for us!

I wouldn't even call it excellent for us.

Wish Cro Cop would just retire. Sad to see him coming back at his age. UFC just trying to boost numbers at this point.

I think the only reason UFC got Cro Cop was to keep him out of Bellator.

Gonzaga gonna wreck him easy. More powerful. Multi-dimensional.

Both guys are pretty slow though. Either gonna be a boring decision or Gonzaga gets him to the ground and submits him.

Depends which Gonzaga shows up. He is incredibly multi-dimensional, but is really inconsistent.

That said, I think he beats Cro Cop again unless he does something stupid and just tries to box him.

UFC heading to Scotland this year. Might be an excellent opportunity to strengthen JoJo Calderwood's star power, and get some more eyes on the Strawweights, by putting her in the main event.

Decent fights on FOX on right now

Akira Corassani just got out to sleep by Sam Sicilia

Ryan Bader beat Phil Davis just now in Sweden in the final seconds of the third round using practically a German Suplex, lol.

Wow, bullsh** ending to Henderson's match. He slipped and fell down, got hit two times, then the ref calls the fight. WTF?

Agreed Hendo fight should have gone on ...

And wow how scary does AJ look?
Seriously think he can put jones to sleep

Gustafsson survives the first minute, but gets decimated in Round 1 in a heartbreaking loss in his home country. Anthony Johnson (a.k.a. Black Shane Carwin) is the next challenger for Jon Jones!

Gustafsson was handled in that fight. It was over at the first bell.

Thought the Henderson stoppage was complete ********, he was rocked badly by Mousasi but he should have been given the opportunity to try to scramble. Mousasi basically landed the punch that hurt him, Henderson stumbled back & landed nothing of significance after that.

Take a look at how long the referee gave Gustafsson to fight back, Rumble was swarming him & hitting him with hammerfists, but Gustafsson was still trying to block & still moving. It wasn't stopped until he ate 2 pretty nasty shots Rumble threw under his arm that clearly struck him cleanly on the chin.

Fighters should always be given a chance to fight back, the referee should only be there to stop it if he isn't defending himself. Look at Edgar vs Maynard 2 & 3, Lesnar vs Carwin etc. Referees should given them a verbal warning that they need to get out of the situation they were in or show some attempt at scrambling before they step in. Otherwise it should be if they are clearly limp and in danger of eating undefended haymakers.

Johnson was an animal in the ring! He has all the tools to give Jones problems. We'll see how it goes when they square off against each other.

So happy Rumble got the victory. Was jumping for joy and pounding my chest! Hope he knocks Jones.

I hope Silva absolutely wrecks Diaz next weekend. I don't like the Diaz brothers.

Agreed fellas, I had a feeling Johnson would put it on Gustafson, but not that bad! Going to cheer my fellow Georgia boy all te way to a victory over Jon Jones I hope!!

Couldn't agree more!

Am I the only one who thinks the Hendo stoppage was justified? The man is old, and his chin is just about gone. Another few punches, and he would've been out. If I'm a ref, I don't want him taking those additional punches. It's time for the man to hang it up.

Also, welcome to the UFC, Mr. Finland! You have won me over as a fan!

And Rumble, I knew you would surprise a lot of people in this fight, and I'm glad to say I was right. You started out as an immature boy, but you're quickly turning things around, and becoming a man. I can't wait to see you show Jon Jones what serious power feels like!

I thought it was too early myself. No doubt about it that he was hurt, but Mousasi only really landed the shot that hurt him, Henderson then somewhat slipped or tripped backwards as a result of him being rocked.

Dana White said had it not been for the referee tackling Mousasi, Henderson would have been mounted and properly knocked out, which I think is a pretty daft way to look at it. When you have 2 guys fight you want the winner to be definitive in a finish. It should be brought into question about if's and but's, it should have been clear that Henderson was done & I don't think it was.

The only fight I've any interest in seeing Henderson in before he retires is a rematch with Rampage. It's a nothing fight though other than something for the fans. Rampage has said though his main objective in the UFC is taking fights against people he's lost to so Evans, Rua, Bader, Jones.. Evans & Rua would be most likely at this stage.

Not only that, but he's lucky it was stopped when it was, because if it would have gone much longer the ref would have stopped it due to that nasty gash on his eyelid. I hate cut stoppages, but I don't want to see a guy lose an eye in a fight either. Dan even admitted he couldn't see out of it and Mousasi pointed at it and that's why he got more aggressive which led to him getting caught. He was definitely out for a second at least and Mousasi would have really hurt him if it wasn't stopped then.

Rumble is a beast! I really think he could be the one to stop Jones.

After Silva handles Diaz, I hope they feed him to Lawler. They shouldn't after a loss, but they will.
