I love how elbows have been used the past couple of weekends. There were some really brutal KOs and TKOs due to them, and the crazy thing is that Jones wasn't even fighting. It's like the universe had to make up for the lack of Bones' elbows somehow.

With Wanderlei unbanned, how about a Silva vs. Silva fight?

New UFC drug policy = potential game changer

Eh, my attraction for Tate faded the moment she started acting like a 15 year attention ****e on Twitter.

And, yes, Condit is the man. The guy is so underrated by the casual fans. His tenacity, technique and heart make him a nightmare.

I will always love Tate.

I am also a Condit fan. I was worried he'd come back a bit slow, but he looked good. He can beat anyone in the division over 5 rounds. Well, at least with GSP gone.

So Weidman/Rockhold and Cormier/Gus set for the titles. I think Gus needs at least one win. The division is at that point now where all the top guys like Rumble are coming off losses so winning a big fight against a top five guy will get you a title shot. Then again Gus beat a top fifteen guy and was gifted a championship rematch against Jones so maybe he won't even have to work that hard. I just think his stock plummeted after Rumble waxed him in a minute.

Wanderlei is retired. The only fight I've any interest in seeing him have is against Chael Sonnen simply because they both hate each other. Aside from that, he's better off retiring.

I think even though Gustafsson got mauled by Johnson, he is by far the only person credible for Cormier's first title defense aside from Jon Jones himself. I thought he probably should have got a rematch with Jones after their fight given how close that title fight was & I think Dana White probably felt similar but I believe Jones probably turned the fight down in favour of a Teixeira bout given that he'd never fought him.. which is fair enough. But Dana is probably giving him this fight because he felt he owed him one.. and he still is a credible challenger so it's all good.

I'm glad Bader didn't get a shot. He's running his mouth at on Twitter & in press conferences & I'm sitting here thinking.. you barely won a dull split decision over Davis (in honesty from what I can recall of the fight Davis could have easily won that fight.. unless I'm mistaken) & Bader thinks he's the number 1 contender? Hope he gets put up against Suga next & Rashad burys him for stupidity.

I'd rather watch Gus vs. Cormier out of interest to see one of Jones' biggest challenges face DC, and Bader, he's boring. On the other hand it feels weird that someone who just came off a loss to the guy that the champion just completely demolished is getting a title shot.

I agree. I'll be honest there's a couple of guys in the UFC's top 10 rankings that I'd rather see get a shot before Bader even thought Bader is supposedly #3 some of them are coming off loses as well.

Gus/Bader makes more sense. Bader gets a big win to go along with his streak, plus his loss to Jones was years ago.

And if Gus wins a fight over top 5 Bader in a division with no obvious contenders the UFC can sell that fight.

H-BOMB YEAH

Still has it, I'm a happy panda. He's not going to retire unless he wants to, so I'd rather him win than get knocked out again.

Can't believe that Hendo won. Not that I'm mad. I figured that his chin was gone, and that Boetsch would crack it once. Instead that H-bomb resurrected itself.

Now Hendo should retire on a win. I don't want to see him gain too much confidence in himself and take on someone that could hurt him badly.

All 6 main card matches were stoppages, and 9/10 fights on the main card + prelims were stoppages. Insane.

Correlation: smaller cage. They used a smaller cage last night, and I've been begging for the UFC to do this with every fight. It makes it way more entertaining, that's a big reason the WEC was so great.

That may have been the best Fight Night I've ever seen. Tavares/Ortega was amazing.

I hope Kimbo violently KO's him just to put an end to his stupidity. Should have retired 10-15 years ago all he has done since is hurt his own legacy with a series of loses to people he'd have probably ripped limb from limb in his prime.

After the last time Tito waxed that ass, Ken Shamrock should have never picked up another pair of gloves. It's painful seeing a legend continue to do this stuff.

Ken's not going to retire unless he gets paralyzed or something. Even then there would always be Japan. They just don't give a damn about the health of their guys. Just look at how they treat Sakuraba. I bet they're probably planning on him fighting a bear at some point.

Even then was probably 1 or 2 fights longer than he should have done, I mean I'm just looking at his record. Post 2002 he had a lot of 1st round defeats.. 7 out of 10 to be exact between then & now 2 of which to Tito.

Ken probably needs the money, which is why he fights. It is sad, but true.

Cain Velasquez got his ass kicked. It was a good night.

A dude tried to bet me on this fight saying Cain would win easily because he keeps coming and never stops but I told him don't sleep on Werdum. His floor game is no joke.

I'm also going to just throw this out there to: Maybe it was ring rust because Cain was hurt for awhile but that new drug testing thing may have been in play. I don't know.............just saying.

Cain tonight was the same Cain that showed up to fight JDS in their first fight. Clearly not in shape. The layoff hurt him. I take Cain in a rematch, if the rematch isn't after nearly 2 year layoff.

Ditto. I like Werdum. He's improved so much recently, but I don't think he can beat Cain at his best
