So next issue Rogue gets a full cover all to herself with a shinning effect.

Carey, you need to stop your fantasy.
Why would I care who Rogue chooses? So long as my Summers men don't get involve with her I don't see what's the fuss.

Wait... this all seems familiar...

Oh my god, X-Men Legacy is turning into Twilight! Are you on Team Remy or Team Erik?

You mean the meaningless romance novel?

I know I'd definitely not choosing the girl, the boys can have each other.

Ha. While I'm certain that Carey's going to somehow tie an unexpected character into the entire mess (for all we know, a WOMAN at that... I honestly have no idea what to expect with this man), my answer would be about the same it would be with Twilight... I don't care, as long as the show ends with the dame getting hit by a freaking bus.

GAHHHHHH! OH FOR F"#KS SAKE!

Talk about flogging a dead horse! I'm kinda hoping its Mags now, so Gambit can be freed up to find someone a bit more deserving!
I would prefer Gambit not be with anyone right now. For me, his thing with Rogue would be a one-time deal. He's not really much of a one-woman man in my eyes.
...Oh, and I'll probably look at 234 for comedic purposes, but after that my X-Mean reading days are dead. It's over, I'm just staying away.
So you've gotten where I am right now, huh? I'm so sick of the X-books right now. Just a bunch of fanboys pushing their random favourite characters.

But... what if Remy is a Summers man? Dun dun duuuun!

Team Rogue! Meaning she can just kind of... pleasure herself and leave Gambit and Magneto alone. :o

Considering Rogue hasn't been able to touch another human being since hitting puberty, I think she's had enough of pleasuring herself.

Ooohh! I see a fanfic coming on! :D

LOL, :p :D

The current issue of Legacy is pretty damn good. Why? Bc it doesnt focus on Rogue. Carey is a good writer and capable of writing decent X-men team issues; I only wish he did it more often.

His lineup of Rogue, Husk, Psylocke, Blindfold, Magneto, Colossus, Trance and Nightcrawler leading was a good one. Funny how Wolverine was on the cover and didnt even make a cameo. I dont get though why the team flew to Muir Island when there are so many teleporters on Utopia

The art was very good and I think they need to give this guy an ongoing

Yeah, I've been enjoying Legacy a lot lately too. Utopia was the best thing to happen to that book

I want Blindfold to go away though

yea i loved the line up and this book looked beautiful.

For the love of Christ, Rogue!!!! WTF????? You shouldn't even have to wonder who you're gonna pick. Hello?????? Does the name "Remy LeBeau" sound familiar???? Come on, he's the one that's always been by your side, he freaking loves you, I don't even know why you are fighting here and there, when you should be cuddling with him 24/7 now that you can!!!! If you don't choose him (you shouldn't even "have" to choose, he's the one, dang it), but if you don't... ... ...
I don't know, I'll think of something. (For sure I'll cry :csad:)

I think I know who Rogue will choose. We're going to see Rogue standing on the beach of Utopia, Magneto and Gambit standing at her sides. She'll say "I'm sorry, boys. There's only one man good enough for me." We'll then see her reach for the sky as a photograph of a human hand drops into the panel. Then the human hand will turn into a sketch drawing of an arm. Soon a drawing of Mike Carey will enter the comic in his entirety, take Rogue's hand, and the two will run off while the words "Taaaaake onnnn meeeeee" are splashed across the bottom of the page.

:hehe: Somehow, I wouldn't be surprised!

I've finally come to the conclusion that I don't think either of them (and by either, I mean Mag and Remy!) are good enough for her, Remy especially. He's pretty much Rogue's lap-dog now and he deserves better than that. I don't know about Magneto. I'll prefer it if she chooses Remy though.

I think Rogue should play the field a little. Don't **** it up to Wolverine/Iron Man/Mystique levels or anything. Just get out there and date.

For one second, I thought you were referring to a world-famous art piece.

I've read the issue late, and after catching up on this thread, I was coming here to write this exact same thing. See? I can attribute credit when necessary.

Hate X-Men Legacy or love it, #231 was actually very well-written. I haven't hated the title as much as some people - I'm more apathetic about it than anything, I guess - and while it hasn't been written terribly, necessarily, it sure as hell hasn't been good or anywhere close to great.

But this issue is.

And it's too bad that the team dynamic is probably going to vanish following X-Necrosha, and the title will go back to being sub-par.

I've said before that Carey writes a fine X-Men team comic when he's not isolating Rogue, and this issue really drives that point home.

Hooray. Rogue is the bestest and will succeed where others have failed because she's perfect.

Give us a team book, Carey!

She stole the powers of everyone on the Uncanny cover. Thats Carey's way of giving us a team

Reminds me that a lot of fanfics had Rogue able to use EVERY powers she ever touched, and the writers were generally teenage girls...Carey o_O?
