... I think samruby's site is down...

I know there hasn't been much activity on it for a year, but Eric had told me back then that things had changed and he was back and it was just a matter of time before he got caught up...

I hope everything's ok with the guy... BEST Spider-Man site ever created...

:csad:

www.samruby.com

Ok.. it appears to be working now... phew...

I'm glad this site is still around. I think his was one of the first Spider-Man website I ever found back in the 90's
Thanks Eric.

Sam Ruby's site was literally the first Spider-Man related *anything* I stumbled upon when I first got online in 1996 or so. Before comicboards, before spiderfan, before crawlspace, before the other sites that are now long gone, definitely before here. It is literally a childhood memory. I'm glad it's not dead. :yay:

I remember when I first starting looking for Spider-Man related stuff, I found a website that talked about a Spider-Man movie and specifically the casting. I remember they had Johnny Depp as Peter Parker, and Dan" Aykroyd as Doctor Octopus. Also, they wanted the grandma from Happy Gilmour as Aunt May.

I remember once in a net cafe I stumbled upon this site, stayed on it for an entire hour
Didn't have an internet in my house back then, I had a strong need to fill my passion for Spider-Man with information from the internet, I remember it is the first source for me to recognize Spider-Girl

Back when SHH was "Spider-Man Hype"

I didn't know there was an archive like that. Cool to see the original "Who should play PP" poll didn't even have Tobey Maguire's name on it.

Wow. Thanks for posting those links imdaly. Nostalgia.
