Okay... Who else loved Logan vs. Jean

**** Wolverine. All I ever want is for him to die horribly.

Come on, you're never gonna convert anyone away from Jean/Logan with talk like that ;)

And he is popular. Nobody can deny that.

Romance is very much a matter of personal taste. What "works" for one person doesn't necessarily work for another.

As for me, I'm not trying to persuade anyone to change their mind about their ship. I just find it fun and interesting to talk about why we like what we like. I do, however, sometimes take the liberty to argue with people who make statements that I think are untrue.

Wolverine's love for Jean is very intense -- just like he is. Not everyone can handle that kind of intensity -- not everyone likes it. But I think Jean likes it! ;)

It's obvious that Jean (all variations of her) uses Logan's intense feelings for her benefit.

But then again, everything that Logan goes through is intense. He's such a drama king! :P

Equal Jean/Scott and Jean/Logan screentime would definitely be a one up for Scott/Jean fans currently, but in reality, Scott should have more screentime with Jean than Logan does, even if Logan gets more screentime overall.

I agree.

I could care less if Logan is in the spotlight and has the most screentime. It's when he starts getting forced into the roles of others that I get annoyed. Logan can't have it all - it would defeat the purpose of having other characters and other relationships.

This is supposed to be about a TEAM.

If we are restricting ourselves solely to the movies, then the Logan/Jean dynamic is interesting and possibly mutual. Although we were sort of forced there, we were really only given one Jean/Scott scene each in X2 and X3. It's tough to make an audience feel what you don't show.

In the comics, however, there's no question that Jean loves Scott and that's it. As to whether Jean uses Logan's love, I get the sneaking suspicion in the comics that Jean likes to jerk Logan's chain to boost Scott's confidence by flirting with him and then pulling the football up like Lucy in the Peanuts cartoons.

*snort*

There is no "I" in team. But there is a Wolverine. Look.

t-e-wolverine-a-m

Aw jeeze, I gues there is an "i" in it afterall .

I don't think Jean is that cruel.

In that end scene it wasn't Wolverine vs. The Phoenix... it was Jean against Logan... did anyone else think that scene was FNING AWESOME?!?! I mean God the man's flesh is getting torn up and he keeps moving toward her... showing his love for her obviously i thought that was the single greatest shot/scene i had ever seen out of the 3 x-men films... the same goes for when Xavier dies and Wolverine is using his claws to climb around and he sees Xavier go.. I was obsessed with those two scenes they make me want to see it again!

The movie was such crap by then, it really meant nothing.

She could rip apart some people in miliseconds she could rip apart Xavier, but not Logan? Give me a break. His healing powers are not that good or that quick.

Also, she could survive being crushed by millions of gallons and survive underwater for months but not survive being stabbed, even if jean wanted to die, Phoenix didn't. I'm still laughing at the entire piece of crap.

...Kitty was cute though, and I thought the Danger Room was amazing. Everything else was a joke, and an insult.

Actually, I don't think Logan's love for Jean is intense. I've seen intense love - witness the true Phoenix story - and believe me, Logan's love may as well be a candle to Scott's inferno.

I mean, X2 basically froze the Jean/Logan thing - Logan had finally recognized that Jean chose Scott for crying out loud. IMO, Jean and Logan's interactions felt more like Fox rehashing something that was already dead to make a popular character even more popular in X3. I'm probably biased, but that's what Jean/Logan felt like to me. The same "Logan chases girl, Logan can't get girl" story of X1 and X2 all over again.

That was my favorite scene of them all :).

because fox said this is the last of the trilogy and it is a wolverine trilogy so it should ened will his death!

what is the recurring song in the movie? is it THE LAST STAND?

Oh come...why is it that so many people say that...PEOPLE, IT'S NOT A WOLVERINE TRILOGY!!!! He's not the only character in this movie you know!!

Are you serious? The only way Logan's gonna die is if people realize how over-rated he is. Which is never. Honestly, it's gotten to the point that I'm not entirely sure the Lord Himself, Chuck Norris, can take him down. It's ridiculous.

Coulda fooled me. Fine, it's not a Wolverine trilogy, it's a "Wolverine and his amazing friends!" trilogy.

LOL! That's better:p.

You know, when I first came here, I was looking forward to Scott having a big role with Jean in this movie. I had no idea what was going on until a few weeks after I joined the Hype. It wasn't until I started understanding all the nitpicking and bashing and ... others making fun of me, that I came to realize that Cyclops was indeed going to be screwed over. At first I didn't think that was the case but -shrugs- Now...seeing how he has such a small role in this one...i mean I still like X3, but its just, man, I was looking forward to see how X3 would unfold around Jean and Scott. So with Scott dubbed down, all that hope I was feeling went towards Jean/Famke and that hope did get paid off, despite no fire, no flames, no firebird...well you know what? Im gonna just look at it this way- that there was fire in Jean's hair. It looked like it to me. So my hope did get paid off thanks to Famke and among others.

I just thought I'd get this out of my system. But understand what did happen behind the production of X3, I blame Fox for the rushed job and Scott's role.

Anyway... -glances at his avvy- heh..awww...if looks could kill. hehe.
