What I don't get is why would she let him get close enough? She has telekinesis, she could've picked him up and thrown him miles?

ScarletSpider said:"it should of been Scott, because Jean chose him, Jean loved him" I didn't hear Jean say I love you back anywhere, for me it made the whole scene all the more powerfull, that this man will go all the way for the woman who won't even return the love he has for her. I liked the ending.
Athough I belive Scott should have lived, do you really think he could of done the same thing in Wolverine's place.. let alone be able to?
Oh and didn't something similar happen in the comics, where Magneto was sending Wolverine and Jean towards the sun and he killed her to ease the pain?
SuperT said:I actually prefer the Wolvie/Jean relationship to the Cykes/Jean one only because Cykes is about and dull as dishwater, and I believe deep down inside Jean, she's always want to be with Logan, but has always viewed it as the bad choice. The Wolvie/Jean relationship just has a lot more chemistry and it's a bit more believeable to me personally.
SuperT said:Being that the Phoenix is a part of Jean, and a deep alter-ego, it was only showing Jeans deepest desires, and that was to be with Logan.

Nell2ThaIzzay said:Yes, the scene with Wolverine and Phoenix was pretty awesome.
But it was a bittersweet experience.
The scene itself was awesome, but it should have been Cyclops marching towards Phoenix. Afterall, Jean does love Scott, not Logan.
It was a great scene, but an utter slap in the face to X-Men fans.
Bitter ****ing sweet.
