I trust that Feige made the right decision hiring Watts. After the previous Fantastic Four movies, he of all people knows that they must get this one right.
John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. What does everyone think the cast will look like
I do expect a multiracial maybe even all black Fantastic Four. What does everyone think the cast will look like
Looking at HC, I'm thinking the same.I do expect a multiracial maybe even all black Fantastic Four.
Don't shoot me. Just an odd hunch.
I’m fine with whoever they cast as long as it isn’t John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. Those two have been fancast to death to the point it’s gotten kind of annoying, and people are just insisting it be them and no one else can play the roles.I do expect a multiracial maybe even all black Fantastic Four.

I do expect some race-bending with the FF, but I do think Ben Grimm will remain white Jewish. Reed, Johnny, and Sue could be any race and I wouldn’t care.
Well I'm wondering if what Watts did in managing an ensemble of young actors in the Spidey franchise is what clinched it for him.I mean, I get it, but at the same time, why him?
Eh, whatever man. You do you. It’s still possible Marvel makes them all lily white people btw I’m just speculating. Though, even if they cast all white people please don’t get Krasinski and Blunt.I,just wish they would leave this franchise, alone with the race and gender changes..,just once let the movies look like the comics...they are my favorite and I want them to look that way race and all...it just adds to,the authenticity
Nevermind top dog, his solos feel smaller than most of the other MCU solos. Far smaller than any of the Raimi films too. There's something small time about Watts' Spider-Man films. You would never get the impression Spider-Man is the top dog at Marvel watching them. They are like eating cotton candy and the best MCU films are a satisfying meal.
The other Spider-Man films feel a lot bigger, even the bad ones.
Feige clearly likes Watts. When the whole debacle with Sony happened, both studios were hard-core recruiting Watts by all accounts. That indicates Feige is very happy with the work Watts has done with Spider-Man
Yes, good point. I will check on that.Very excited, hopefully this means we get a fantastic four forum soon!
Yeah, they just feel light compared to most Spider-Man things I know. It's like watching Spider-Man TAS or Spectacular and watching Ultimate or Amazing Friends right after.Nevermind top dog, his solos feel smaller than most of the other MCU solos. Far smaller than any of the Raimi films too.
That's exactly how it feels to me. They're good, just don't seem all that important (Homecoming in particular, even with Stark involved).Yeah, they just feel light compared to most Spider-Man things I know. I get Spidey is street level but I always felt the stakes in the other movies more for whatever reason. For me... I like a more small bore feel for Spidey movies.
