You know guys with Sony and their ******ed

Spiderman less Spiderman spin off cinematic ****show

I really hope Disney gets the Spider-Man rights in full and not just the movies to

I want Disney to try and get the full rights to Spectacular and Insomniacs Spider-Man game and re release the first game on other platforms such as PC and Xbox and make sequels with Insomniac directly and remove Sony from the equation and make use it as a jumping point for a Marvel games universe where the Fantastic Four and X Men characters are prevalent

Yep but they pretty much tanked it after the second fantastic four movie didn’t exactly take off and everyone was annoyed by the cloud.

You know after seeing Jumanji welcome to the jungle I could really see a role in the marvel u for Alex wolff but I think I’m ready to see a different interpretation of Reed than super nerdy geeky boy. Maybe the wizard?

^ Definitely don't want something like that for Reed. That would be terrible. He looks more like the Molecule Man if anything.

Sexy bearded scientist-adventurer Reed > twerpy geek

So Oscar Isaac? :oldrazz:

I don't get Oscar as Reed in the least. Krasinski? That I could see, though oddly, not Blunt as Sue.

I get oscar as Reed mainly because I think he could play a genius, and someone who is oozing with enthusiasm for science. But also someone who would protect his family. Dudes got so much charisma and likeability, Which is something the last performances as Reed lacked.

Some have been fan-casting David Harbour as The Thing. I really like this fan cast, I think he'd be great in the role.

Plus he has blue eyes like the idol of millions does.

Do you guys think theyll need to take the homecoming approach with this to get peoples attention. I.e feature an mcu character or two in supporting roles like Stark and Happy. Someone to help establish that connection to the larger mcu . I feel like the mcu f4 will have an uphill battle after the 2015 movie having a couple of mcu characters to help usher in marvels first family might not be a bad idea. Something to let the audience know hey this is in the mcu now.

A cameo? Maybe. If Stark lives after A4 he'd be the logical choice. But he or any other character having the same story importance or time onscreen that Tony did in HC? I wouldn't go that far were I in charge. In any case I think the audience doesn't need much to get them to realize the FF are in the MCU now if the advertising is done right.

Start putting them in other movies first and then in their own movie once interest has been built. They could always have someone else appear to. I don't think it would do any harm and would show the cross pollination.

I think introducing someone like Reed or Sue in say Ant-Man 3 would help. Establish them as scientists before their powers and set them up for their own film.

I could see it and kinda like it. He is Hellboy though

I am 100% on the Isaac-as-Reed train

Yep. To me, I don't really see a better fit out there for the role.

I'm the opposite. Oscar is my choice for Reed, while I don't get Krasinski in the role at all.

I'm with ya. I like Krasinski, but not as Reed. I think a lot of people just like him for the role because they like the idea of having him and Emily Blunt as Reed & Sue. It's a little uninspired to me

I don't like the idea of Emily Blunt as Sue at all. I like the idea as Krasinski as Reed though. I don't want it to be him and his wife playing the two roles however. I'd prefer Krasinski opposite Lily James.

Maybe Micheal Chiklis can stay as Ben Grimm but have him stay in his rock form.

But recast the other 3.

Luckily Hellboy is a make-up heavy character so you can't tell who the actor is unless you knew beforehand.
You can easily have David Harbour appear as pre and post-transformation Ben with the GA not even thinking of his Hellboy role.

Plus Ben will likely be motion capture CGI post-transformation, which will even further separate him from his Hellboy role. Andy Serkis has appeared in many films using motion capture and no one having a clue until seeing his name in the credits or on IMDB.

David Harbour ticks a lot of the boxes:

Right size and look (the guy definitely looks like an ex-football player)
Right age range
Has the right voice
From New York (so he can do the accent)
Has blue eyes
Can play gruff but lovable (see Stranger Things)

Harbour is definitely a really good choice. And I hope they go for the Kirby design with Thing for once.

This may be the one single thing I'm most looking forward to - a Thing that actually looks like the Thing.

It doesn't have to be straight Kirby, but key Kirby characteristics possibly blended with some other designs we've seen over the years - maybe a little larger than Kirby drew him.

And I want him to charge and lunge and punch and project real power the way Kirby drew him.
