I hope they create real, metal armor for him and give him a timeless, classic look. I hope they don't try to give him a futuristic look.

The armor should look like it could have come from the middle ages with the classic, distinct face-piece.

That's exactly why I don't want him building his armour out of the pieces of the Ultron bots in Sokovia. Doom needs to build his own armour himself without the need for any other scraps.

He shouldn't get any technology from Stark. That should be beneath him.

I don't think anyone was talking about his armor on basis of Ultron bots, but of the Ultron bots serving as ressources for the Doombots.
I as k once again: If they go the route and have a connection between Sokovia and Latveria, should Doom just ignore Vibranium and high tech robots and AI lying around in the rubble or should he use the opportunity to use the vibranium for his own needs? It is not a matter of pride but of availability. There's not much vibranium lying around outside of Wakanda.

And developing his own AI from scratch? Totally doable, but it takes time. Improving the flawed Stark tech to rub it in Iron Man's face that Doom is the superior engineer? Sounds more like him than neglecting the fact that there a resources available. Doom in the past has taken shortcuts if the opportunity was there.

I mean, sure, Doom could have gone the long way to gain control over the UN and become Emperor of the world, he still decided to use Purple Man's powers even if it wasn't a power inherently possesed by him.

if Stark's hovercar crash landed in Reed's backyard and one would want to paint Reed as a more shady, power thirsty charcter who wants to use the Fantasticar for dubious purposes, that allegoryy might make sense

Starting to think you need to introduce the F4 in another film before they get their solo film, or at least a couple of them.

I think it could work great if Reed and Sue showed up in Dr Strange somehow or even Guardians 3.

Personally hope Strange and Reed Richards knew each other prior somehow.

There are places in Germany that just looks amazing

Give Dr Doom a 16th Century Castle with Stark level technology , security , etc

where it could be like Winter time , like all the time...................lol

Latveria, not Latvia. Latvia exists in the real world near Russia, Estonia and Lithuania.

I agree though that it should be old world. Make it a combination of Germany and Romania. Film it like Wonder Woman where they shot in different locations and combined it to create Themyscira.

I'd love them to solo in other films before the team film. They all have something to contribute individually (even if only small roles) and could be matched up with other Phase IV MCU films coming out.

A lot of you guys are on the right track for Doom.

A practical, timeless costume. A castle and surrounding city straight out of the 1600's. Really lean into what makes Dr. Doom one of the best villains in all of fiction.

I think it would be great for our initial view of Doom to be in televised war footage. Have WHiH report the stunning news that rebel forces have seized control of the government of Latveria, the jewel of the Balkans. Then show Victor striding confidently across a war zone, bombs falling all around him as he leads his forces into the walled capital.

Eh, Doomstadt should look like an old eastern European city, but it shouldn't be literally filled with 16th century peasants. Let it be an actual modern city, for a certain "more functional than the typical crazy dictator" sense of 'modern'.

I'd cast Matt Smith for Reed. He'd be in his mid-thirties by the time of phase 4 and that's good for a franchise.

He's already good with the technobabble and over the head intelligence talk. And he can do comedy.

Smith would be terrible for Reed and would just perpetuate the nerdy misconception that people have of the character.

I'm convinced that the best and safest choice for Reed is John Krasinski.

Not sure about Sue, but Blake Lively seems like the most popular candidate.

As for Johnny, I think Marvel should grab Harry Styles before he becomes too expensive for them (Lol jk, nothing is too expensive for Disney). He was pretty good in Dunkirk and he's around Holland's age.

This is just my personal wish, but as a fan of The Leftovers, I wish they'd cast Justin Theroux as Doctor Doom. They need a really good actor to play the role, especially if he's going to be the major villain post Avengers 4.
