Elizabeth banks would be fun especially if she hams it up like power rangers. And I love issacs. He would make a fun doom actually.

Actually I was thinking about doom. What about Dominic West. Remember him?

(No idea why I keep bringing up doom here, he deserves his own movie)

In regards to preserving their status as the First Family without using a 60's setting, it seems inevitable that Avengers 4 is going to switch up the status quo with that team. In which case, I could easily see there being a void in the MCU for a new celebrated team like the FF to make their debut before Avengers 5 solidifies a new team.

I suppose you could always say they did a lost in space thing, they’ve spent the last few years exploring space and they come back to earth as famous explorers. That would put the glamour in and the first family thing in too. Could be fun

I think it is inevitable Krasinski and Blunt will get the roles of Reed and Sue; Krasinski in no certain terms is basically campaigning for this role

Would they let him direct the movie too? The first actor/director superhero movie since Dick Tracy!

MCU FF Cast

John Krasinski - Reed (I'd also like to see Gosling in this role, to be honest)

actress-katherine-waterston-from-fantastic-beasts-and-where-to-find-picture-id847027792

[blonde] Katherine Waterston - Sue (although Keri Russell would also have been ideal if the franchise had been restarted a few years back)

Jake Johnson - Ben

Ansel-Elgort-Baby-Driver-Varsity-Jacket-2-570x708.jpg

Ansel Elgort - Johnny (In my opinion, based on his filmography thus far, Dacre Montgomery would get acted under the table by the rest of my picks, while Ansel went toe-to-toe with some of the best in Baby Driver + he looks like Waterston)

kenneth-branagh-wallander.jpg

Kenneth Branagh - Red Ghost (a good one-off villain if they want to get flexible with the Magneto-Baboons... better than Mole Man in my opinion)

British-Actor-Ed-Skrein-Hottest-Pictures.jpg

Ed Skrein - Namor (although this is a good role for an Asian or Native American actor, if Marvel is inclined to racebend)

Cillian Murphy - Doom

Ralph-Fiennes-Barry-Tiger.jpg

Ralph Fiennes - Annihilus

Alexander Skarsgard - Silver Surfer (I also bandied Adam Driver, if he hasn't been brought up)

Mark Strong - Galactus

Me too. And hey, it’s super cool we know marvel can do a really good cgi thing since thanos worked out so well

Loved Ed Skrein in Deadpool so seeing him in a Marvel film again especially seeing him play Namor...perfect choice

Galactus I would go with either Mark Strong or Bryan Cranston via voice/CGI

Would definitely go with Alexander Skarsgard as Silver Surfer

Only realistic change would be to Sue Storm I would go with either Emilia Clarke, Blake Lively or Olivia Wilde

I lean toward an Asian actor for Namor (I mean look at those eyebrows) but I dig Ed Skrien. I used to root for Luke Goss for the part back in the days of Blade II, and Ed is basically Luke Goss: Redux.

I wouldn't mind Aaron Pierre from krypton. He definitely has the look and voice imo.

Me too honestly. But it’s hard to cast namor if we don’t know who will play sue. Whoever plays sue and namor should have insane chemistry. Anyway, it’s too early to worry about since he’s with universal and they haven’t even got fox back yet.

Hey you know what scene I’m dying to see? The fantasticar versus the avengers quinjet. I think it would be a fun way to show just how technologically advanced the FF are compared to everyone else, even earth’s ‘best’. What scene are you dying to see?

Hope we can throw in the Blackbird jet as well, all charging in together to fight Galactus or someone like that. I'm also looking forward to, like, the first time the FF go out as a team to save people and fight a bad guy. And, of course, the reveal of the MCU Doom.

We should throw in the Waverider too...

wait... wrong universe!

A three-way dog fight between a quinjet, the fantasticar and the blackbird would be cool to see. Maybe the Thanos copter as well.

To me Justin Theroux looks like the real life Namor! He even has those weird eyebrows.

Yeah, could we maybe not do the "Namor goes all Pepe Le Pew on Invisible Woman" story? Stan and Jack cycled that one a few times, with several bad guys lusting after Sue.

Especially since people will be too busy shipping the hell out of Reed and Doom or Reed and Namor to care about some lame hetero love triangle. :o

Or Doom and Namor. Those two hung out a lot.

Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic- John Krasinski
Sue Storm/Invisible Woman- Alice Eve
Johnny Storm/Human Torch- Dacre Montgomery
Ben Grimm/The Thing- Seth Rogen
Victor Von Doom/Doctor Doom- Zachary Quinto

Daniel Henney as Namor.

Well to be fair it was more than reciprocated by sue. And it did give her more complexity than just being the dutiful wife while her husband ignored her

Well to be fair, it wasn’t just namor lusting after sue. It was definitely recipria

Please. It would be reed and Ben.

Doom and Loki maybe, yeah. But doom and reed is super boring

Daniel Henney as Namor.

That might be fun. But he seems so nice, not stuck up at all

She's told him no every time and that she wants Reed. It's boring and a bit sexist that the only Sue story is some other guy lustuing over her and veimg fought over like an object. The Namor stories aren't even about her or to develop her character, it's about developing Reed and making him a better husband. It's one story I can easily live without.

The story I most remember along those lines is What If #1 which is "What if Spider-Man joined the Fantastic Four?"

In that story, Sue begins to feel unimportant and not needed anymore. She is left behind on missions now after Spider-Man has joined because there are only 4 seats in the Fantasticar (Reed never thought to put in an extra seat).

Namor does his usual routine and Sue, feeling vulnerable, ends up choosing Namor over Reed. Reed protests but ultimately lets her go.

And they're only left with four members in the Fantastic Four again at the end.

Those What If stories were usually like Twilight Zone episodes with a twist ending.

What a messed up 'What if?'

But as I said I hope the films avoid the Namor story and put more time into the things that are important for the FF; adventure, family, science, and kicking ass.

Whenever we heard details of Fant4stic, I felt like it was a "What If".

What if Sue and Johnny weren't actually related?

What if Ben was a short, skinny loser?

What if Sue was a cold, distant b****?

etc. etc. etc.
