Say what you want about the 2005 F4. But they gave us some of the best F4 visuals so far. I gladly watch both films when they come on tv.

Plus, the costumes weren't half bad. Im assuming the MCU costumes are gonna be along the same vein. Looking a bit thicker in terms of material. Likely gonna incorperate all three colors, white, blue and black. Instead of just a strictly two color suit.

Plus, good god. Did whoever played Doom act his ass off. Like that was one of the best and most accurate costumes to date too.

Doom looked good but I wouldn’t say he acted his ass off—IMO Doom was one of, if not the, biggest weaknesses of the film series.

The only thing that looked good with Doom was the mask and hood. I didn't like his jacket and pants and lack of cape or armor. And Julian McMahon definitely isn't a good actor. Everything he's in is dull including the FBI spin-off.

Agreed. However, unlike in the case with Alba where I felt she was miscast, I think with McMahon it’s a really more of case of him being mis-written. I think he was actually good for the role and is a close visual match to the mask less Victor Von Doom drawn by Jack Kirby. I’d be eager to see McMahon play a more comic accurate Doom but I’m fairly positive that ship has sailed.

Unless Marvel does what they’re doing with Electro and bring him back — which I wouldn’t mind too much, actually.

I liked the interaction between Johnny and Ben. I liked Evans work in the movie.
The human torch and the thing were easily my favorite parts of the movie as a kid.

I liked Reed too but I feel like they didn't utilize him properly. He kinda feels like he's the least important character at times.

If Sue remains blonde, lets hope that 3rd times the charm and she doesnt fall to the wig curse. Alba got through 1 film, Kate couldnt make it through 1 so who knows how this new one will go.

Am I the only one who could care less about a wig? I never even noticed either of these until fans profusely pointed them out.

I gaurentee if Marvel did use a wig no one would notice because theyre gonna be to busy fauning over the F4 being in the MCU.

A bad wig is a bad wig, especially if youare giving them 80+million dollar budget. Just as Harry Cavills photoshopped out mustache in JL was distracting, if you go from real hair to a bad wig...a lot of people will notice.

Ha, yeah we probably don’t need a Moira Rose from Schitt’s creek situation

Well fair game, I'm assuming they'll hire natural blonde actor. Marvel just has a tiny habit of casting people who really embody the character.

I highly doubt they'll limit themselves to blonde actors as hair colour isn't necessary to embody a character. Dying your hair is common in Hollywood and the MCU.

Have that many actors actually dyed their hair in the MCU? I think just about everyone whose "changed" their hair wears wigs. Which is good though since they choose quality wigs.

I haven't seen the FF movies in a long time, but they are clearly an example of that post-2000/pre-MCU era when those movies weren't taken all that seriously (besides Spidey and the X-Men).
They had Doom like another "villain of the week" when nowadays he might be treated more like "Ok, he's one of the big ones, let's use him properly".
There is certain charm in those movies though, but I don't like Ioan Gruffudd and Jessica Alba at all in those roles. Maybe I just don't like the actors, but to be honest and now that I think about it those two actors are the reasons why I don't revisit those movies anymore. I might play Daredevil or Ghost Rider again at some point, but the FF movies just... no.

Eh, the first one is better. The second one was just Jack Kirbys fever dream.

So Shia Lebeouf was up for a Marvel role.........................how much you want to bet it wasn't for Reed Richards?

Miles Teller will be Reed from the multiverse of Fox madness.

How could you forgot the eyebrows of the first Thor? :D
Even Chris Evans had to bright his hair up for Winter Soldier, they have to change hair colours as well or do at least some highlights.

Has anyone recommended Ron Perlman for Ben Grimm in this massive thread? that could be an alternate possibility although I think he would have been better for MCU Cable
