This year in particular will be special for the First Family since it will mark their 60th anniversary. What do you guys want or expect Marvel will do for that? I have a feeling we’ll get an animated show or maybe even some videogame content.

We’ll definitely get more news on the MCU Fantastic Four. We’ll definitely get some screenwriters announced as well as an exact release date. Heck, we might even get a FF forum this year! The sky’s the limit. I feel so excited to be an FF fan! We’ve come a long way since the dark days of Fan4stic where the future remained so uncertain! Believe me when I tell you this will be a fantastic year to be an F4 fan(pun intended).

I desperately want a great animated show. I doubt they'll get their own game this early but they may be playable in any upcoming Marvel games that might happen.
Also hoping for some casting announcements sometime this year, that would be another great way to celebrate.

Since it is the 60th anniversary I do believe, that they announce the F4 and Doom. With an estimated release in 2023 it’s the right time to announce the cast 2 years prior.
My guess would be ComicCon

remember what they did for Spidey? That’s what they will do. More merchandise more bigger story arcs in the comics rampIng up awareness and hype leading to the feature film

When will we start get casting announcements for Fantastic 4?

June 2014 they announced Scott Derrickson as director of Doctor Strange. In October 2014 they announced Benedict Cumberbatch as Strange.

For Spidey, in early June 2015 they named Jon Watts as potential director. On June 23 2015 they officially announced Tom Holland as Spider-Man.

December 10 2020 they announced Watts as director of Fantastic Four.
My best guess is we should hear casting for one of the four leads at the latest by the end of April 2021. This could also leak before then.

One of the best things about this lockdown is how much easier it is for studios to keep things like casting news from leaking. For all we know, they already have done or are doing screen tests online over zoom with the Krasinskis, Dacre, Rogen, Olyphant and whoever else is on our fan cast/Vegas odds lists.

With this fact, we could hear an announcement at any time. I think they will most likely time the announcement when Marvel fandom is at a lull (such as right now) and/or after a peak, or between releases of their Disney plus shows. Again, April 2021 we see a lull between the release of The Winter Soldier series in March and Loki in May. I wager we will see Fantastic Four news then or perhaps afterwards which would be the culmination of the full cast reveal (including whoever is playing the main villain) for whenever SDCC 2021was supposed to take place.
