So we had dismissed the idea that the “aerospace engineer” was Reed because Ironheart seemed more likely and the real nail in the coffin seemed to be that a female version of “engineer” was used in the Spanish translation.

But according to this: WandaVision Fans Think John Krasinski’s Reed Richards Is Monica Rambeau’s Mystery Contact

Monica says: “Just got to meet my guy over the ridge” when she is presumably talking about the engineer.

I can’t vouch for the wording because I didn’t notice.

The more I hear Reed the more I think it's just Rhodey. He's not an engineer. But he does definitely have the necessary knowledge and fits the vague criteria we have thus far.

Reed would be a big step for Marvel. Especially introducing him in a show prior to the live action debut. I think this would be the first time that ever happened.

I've also heard the theory that it's a Skrull engineer and Blue Marvel. While Skrulls are likely because the relation to Danvers. It would be left field to anyone who doesn't remember or hasn't seen Captain Marvel.

Blue Marvel is too heavy a hitter and isn't an engineer either.

Leaves Rhodes as honestly the only option.

Is not so far fetched to have Reed Richards appear at this point. After all, they've announced FF and they even have Watts on board, so they could very well have already cast some of the roles and, we know Marvel, they like to plant seeds very early on. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if Reed Richards indeed appears in WandaVision, even in a single scene.

I would since as far as we know he hasn’t even been cast yet. And there’s literally no chance Marvel would be able to keep casting news for such a major character under wraps long enough that we only find out about it in the sixth episode of a tv show. No chance.

If Reed really was showing up in this show it definitely would’ve been heavily rumored by now. Reliable trade sites like Variety and Hollywood Reporter would’ve leaked the casting months before Wandavision even premiered. So I highly doubt Reed will appear in this show now maybe he gets a name drop. After all, Steven Strange was referenced in Winter Soldier months before Cumberbatch was ultimately cast.

The same could happen with Reed in just about any of the MCU projects between now and when the FF are officially cast. However, until the F4 are cast, or we get credible rumors of casting than any speculation of a real flesh and blood actor appearing as the character strikes me as nothing more than wishful thinking. I don’t mean to throw dirt onto any theories or speculation but I do think it’s more than a little stretch(pun not intended) to presume Reed will appear in the next episode.

Smuggling William Jackson Harper/Rahul Kohli/Zachary Quinto/John Krasinski/whoever the heck they cast as Reed onto set for one five minute scene is absolutely possible to pull off.

They've teased the identity of this guy so much now it HAS to be someone relevant, even if not Reed. Though someone like Dr. Adam Brashear would be underwhelming for most viewers.

They kept JK Simmons' scene in Far From Home a secret, same with a bunch of other stuff. If they don't want something to get leaked, they can keep it away from media.
If they shot one scene with only a handful of actors/crew, they can easily keep it a secret.

I think IF Reed shows up, it will be Krasinsky - not because of the meta “Office” connections, but because he has been the most long- rumored candidate, and it’s not crazy that those rumors have been so persistent because there’s something behind them.

We should know in five painfully long days.

It's worth mentioning that Paul Bettany confirmed there's a super secret actor appearing at the end, and no one has any idea who that is. And Olsen also confirmed there's a Luke Skywalker level of cameo at the end.

I don't think so. And even if the translator didn't know and didn't care to check, I believe it would be translated with male pronoums by "default" which is what usually happens in my language.

I'd say no height doesn't matter for him, if anything being on the shorter side might help sell him as the youngster of the group (honestly that was one of my issues with Evans in the role, cause he looked in the same age group as rest of the team, and was taller then everyone)
