Murdocco personally told me, as well as many other fans, that he will be in X3 and play Omega Red. You said no without bearing our sources in mind. You also said Omega's part was cut from the film based on what writers had said. It's ok...I am just happy OR will be in the movie, cameo or not.

I said Murdocco's part was cut, whoever he was playing, based on an email he sent out to fans. Again, NOTHING about Omega Red not being in the film.

The thing with Omega Red si though he's very SFX heavy. In fact I think he's more SFX heavy than any of the other brotherhood members. He's practically a Doc Ock. Why would they keep him under wraps and why wouldnt they show him off in the trailer?

Maybe they wanted to keep his effects for the movie like Icing up and Sentinels etc

I think he will be a cameo or small character like Ratner said but we will see his powers in action in the forest scene and/or the final battle. There are also a ton of things we have not seen yet fierybalrog...Iceman icing up, sentinels, Omega Red, Psyclocke's powers, Jean/Phoenix's powers, etc...Maybe they will show a glimpse of them or save them for the movie.

I agree with chaseter, while I don't think he'll have a large role I do think and really hope we'll see Omega Red in action and using his powers a few times. He's bound to have a scrap with Wolverine at some point.

We see a shot of Wolverine's claws emerge, Colossus metals up, Bobby ices up, Storm conjuring winds and thunders, Quills...umm.."quilling", Pyro lights up, everything around Dark Phoenix floats, Omega Red's tentacles slowly emerge, etc etc. Maybe a pair of red burning eyes?

You get what I mean.
