Kevin on attack of the show pissed me off when he was getting people not go see spiderman 3. If he doesn't like spiderman 3 then fine, but don't tell others to not go see it because you don't like it. The reviews are mixed many liked it, many didn't.

Attack of the show likes to build up the hype, then be skeptical about it. If the movie fails then they can say I told you so. If it's a success then they talk about how good it was and get hyped up for the sequel. repeat

Unless it's snakes on a plane, attack of the show has hates almost everything. until everybody else likes it.

Screw you ATOS let brokeback go. Why do people think thats how Heath is?
Hes not a gay cowboy. Hes a married actor who can act. I'm so happy that Ledger is playing this part. Just because no one thinks of crazy clown when they think of Ledger, doesn't mean he can't do it. No one had seen him play a gay cowboy and he did it well. What will Ledger do with a crazed psycho clown? MMmmm

First of all I agree with you all Attack the Show=*****e bags who got "attacked" too many times as kids.
Second Jack was a great Joker, but....isnt he the only one we;ve ever had I mean granted Ceasar Romero but, we dont acknowledge that series lol But Jack is the best because Jack is the only, give Heatha chance.
Third Yes Brokeback Mountain was extremely gay and I too hate that our Joker was a star in it...but get over it, give up on the Brokebat Mountain jokes.
Lastly....I liked a Knights Tale lol

What really bugs the hell out of me is the sheer ignorance of these morons.

They act like Heath Ledger is the only actor to play a gay character and to take roles in mediocre movies.

Christian Bale, the main ****ing character, played a gay character during his career. This franchise has been "Brokeback Batman" long before Ledger was signed. Not to mention that he's been in his fair share of lackluster movies too. Many great actors have.

I'm just so sick of people giving Ledger crap for this kind of ****. Do some ****ing research you ignorant bastards.

I think you're missing the point. The problem, at least for myself, is not that they don't like Heath. It's the comments, and the ignorance behind them! If they stated they don't like Heath as the Joker, and then intelligently listed why, I don't think anyone would have a problem with it. I definitely wouldn't at least.

incidentally a knights tale is actually gayer than brokeback mountain.

on a standard gaynesscale of 1-10 brokeback only registers a 7.5 while a knights tale is a 9. also velvet goldmine (starring christian bale and ewan macgregor) is a perfect 10.

It's not looking good...they tore him apart. They were pretty unanimous about disliking Heath Ledger and said that while the viral marketing campaign was a good idea, Ledger was heavily criticized about "him not knowing anything about comics" and for some of his less than appealing roles in the past.

Am I wrong here, but with the negative response we're experiencing from several fans on these boards combined now with negative response from the media...are we experiencing a backlash?
