That's odd considering Shawn Ashmore said there were different cuts. Also someone went to the Mexican premiere and clocked it at 1hour 50 minutes without credits.

I agree to the point that there's probably effects shots and stuff left out from what's being previewed.

But I think I've given up on the hope that there's an alternate version that will be released that has Cyclops trooper through until the last battle, or even have that mystery man being Gambit.

Hell, from what it looks like, I don't even know if that mystery man is really even in the movie. He wasn't in the Ebert & Roeper clips today, and they showed parts from the forest scene.

What gets me is why would the Mexican premiere have a longer cut from the critics? It doesn't make any sense.

I think the version Moriarty saw was the one release to the critics. Fox isn't going to spoiled it just yet. Not even for AICN.

Because that's a premiere and this one is for the press.

The print I saw this morning is the final release print. Every shot finished. Final sound mix. Nothing will change between now and release.

And I'm not speculating. I'm not basing this on various reports on the Internet. This is the only version of the film. Don't get hung up on alternate versions, because you will be disappointed.

No. They visualized Jean's Phoenix powers in a very different way.

All I gotta say is if Moriarty is right and there is no alternate version, it's going to suck that Cyke dies. I mean, how hard is it for them to just say he got hurt and put him in a hospital or something. Geesh, at least give him some hope just in case there is an X4.

He saw it on the Fox studio lot in Los Angeles.

The only thing that differs with Moriarty saying there is only one cut is the premiere. Hmm...

I'm getting a strange feeling that there is alternate version too...something that gives hope...and when I see it I will share that strange feeling as complete or a total let down...without any expectations though...I revive my anticipation for the movie itself.

and why does he come here to tell what happens in the film? is fox so stupid?? maybe fox is taking his own revenge against the critics showing them another versions... common! rogue takes the cure, cyclops is killed by jean at the begining, no firebird, everything already showed on the net, millions of fans dessapointed... I HATE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If that version is the real one, be sure i'll watch it probably like it and i'll buy the dvd, but at least i'll hope it doesn't make good at hte box office and producers will lost a lot of money and bret ratner won't be directing another film in his whole life.

At this point...I already know everything about this movie. I feel like I've already seen this movie.
