I still think Orton has a lot to offer the WWE, but it's a pity he can't get his **** together for some reason.

Yeah it sucks. I bet TNA officials are licking their chops at the possibility of Orton being a free agent though.

Hogan/Bichoff and Dixie will have huge grins on their faces IF they find out about this and it becomes true!

Is Cody just talking about being IC and WWE/World champion when mentioning first dual champion since The Ultimate Warrior? Off the top off my head Shawn had the European and WWF/E championships and in 2001 Stone Cold(WWF/E champion) and Triple H(IC champion) where also the tag champs. Also didn't Kurt hold both the IC and European championships at the same time?

He's talking about the most recognized combo, the IC and WWE titles.

Thats what I thought but once or twice I was like does he just mean IC/WWE combo or and championship combo.

Yeah perhaps!

Yeah Antman wasn't lying , the dude looks like a silly bastard.

I'm actually glad that Orton and Del Rio are out of the frame at the moment since those two bore me to death at the moment. This definitely gives wrestlers like Ziggler a chance to really take advantage of the situation and shine now while he has the opportunity.

Sheamus needs to look strong taking down some opponents. They didn't build Kane enough , no one cares about Del Rio , and Orton was pretty much all that's left.

It's great to see Ziggler but this seems like a quick fix and the poor guy might go back down the ladder. I don't think this will be his moment but hopefully they realize what a great asset he is and the real push will come sometime soon.

IF Flair returns to WWE to manage Ziggler..I'll mark!

Possible spoiler for No Way Out.
Local advertising in New York City tonight promoting the Monday 6/18 Raw taping at the Nassau Coliseum featured John Cena vs. Big Show & John Laurinaitis as the main event, with Laurinaitis described as the "Assistant to the WWE Board of Directors", so that's the direction that was planned - Ace getting fired from one position and moved into another to remain a storyline character.

IF
Big Johnny becomes the"Assistant to the Board"then does that mean Triple H or Vince will return full-time on TV as GM/main authority figure? And does that also mean Otunga&Eve return to the main roster as full-on wrestlers?

I wonder if we'll ever see 'the board' as on air characters.

Here is a video of a teenage AJ meeting Lita. She's the crying girl( 0.20 and 0.53)

AJ confirmed this on her twitter account.

I'm a Sheamus fan and all, but would love to see Ziggler win, and then they have a nice long feud. Del Rio and Ziggler should have been in the opposite spots on the card anyway and now it's time to switch and make it stick. Sheamus and Ziggler have already nshown they have good chemistry and we can get a lot of greta matches out of them IMO.

Though, what I'd truly love to see is a full on Christian vs Ziggler feud. Both the matches and promos would be incredible. I wonder if Christian will ever get one more run with the WHC.

Ziggler winning over Sheamus would actually make sense from a story development perspective. Otherwise, the "big development" of him winning the fatal 4-way at the 11th hour is wasted.

Internal Feeling on Ric Flair's WWE Future, AJ Lee Comments on RAW, More

By Marc Middleton on 06/13/2012

- AJ Lee went on Twitter and responded to Daniel Bryan's line from Monday's RAW:

"Was I just in the main event match on Raw with 3 of the best Superstars of all time? And my team won? My mind is blown. So happy right now. And now I can proudly rub it in Daniel's face that I beat him in a match. Btw, once you go Bryan...you have to keep tryin'."

- The debut of Steve Austin's Redneck Island on CMT this past Saturday scored a 0.42 rating with 665,000 viewers. It was the highest rated show for the day. Austin wrote the following about the show last night:

"It's a damn crying shame that Canada, Australia, England, and other great countries cannot get CMT Redneck Island. A damn shame. Spreading Redneck Island around the globe is my newest task. Yes...To provide quality entertainment and content across the globe. #CMT #BSR"

- Despite what WWE says in the lawsuit from TNA, most people within WWE believe that Ric Flair will return to the company as soon as he is legally able to and that WWE officials would love to have him back at the 1,000th RAW in July.

Backstage News on WWE Allowing Christian to Appear at TNA's Slammiversary

By Marc Middleton on 06/13/2012

- As noted before, Christian's appearance at TNA Slammiversary was indeed part of WWE and TNA's deal put together a few months back that allowed Ric Flair to appear at the Hall of Fame. WWE very carefully controlled what Christian was and was not allowed to say at the pay-per-view.

Christian got along well with everyone there but did not want to be there. He told people it was surreal to be there and he expected no heat from within WWE. When WWE and TNA were putting the deal together, Christian wanted no part of it. He was strongly advised to cooperate after WWE began to advertise Flair for the Hall of Fame.

WWE would have allowed TNA to promote the appearance on their live go-home episode of Impact Wrestling but Dixie Carter instead chose to keep the announcement off TV and take it to Twitter, hoping to get the internet buzzing on the Friday before Slammiversary.

HHH Responsible for FCW Tour, Internal Feeling on WWE Talents Returning

By Marc Middleton on 06/13/2012

- Cody Rhodes was asked on Twitter who or what has helped his mic skills improve the most. He replied:

"speech therapy CDs, then realizing we all can't talk like news anchors and burning said CDs. Bogart..."

- The big FCW Summer Slamarama tour with 39 events booked is another part of Triple H's changes to WWE developmental.

- With guys like Rey Mysterio, Chris Jericho and Randy Orton returning to action in the next two months, the feeling within WWE is that their roster is so limited right now that no matter what Vince McMahon is thinking about a particular talent at the moment, when the day comes that someone is cleared to return, they will be brought back regardless of any concerns or politics.

WWE and UFC Speculation on Brock Lesnar's Future and Recent Meeting

By Marc Middleton on 06/13/2012

- Sources in both WWE and UFC are skeptical about how bad the recent meeting between Dana White and Brock Lesnar really was. White said that the meeting was one of the worse he ever had with Lesnar and not part of a WWE angle but there are people on both sides who believe it was.

WWE sources almost universally believe that Lesnar has an iron-clad deal and there is no way he can fight for UFC until that contract expires after WrestleMania 29 in 2013. In UFC, people are insisting that Lesnar's WWE deal is non-exclusive and that he and White were discussing a potential fight during their recent meeting.

Not everyone in UFC thinks Lesnar will fight with the feeling that even if his WWE contract allowed him to fight, his heart really isn't into MMA and this is all some sort of ploy by Lesnar to increase his bargaining power or leverage with WWE.

Goldberg Comments on Fans Chanting His Name, WWE Looks at Cruises

By Marc Middleton on 06/13/2012

- Former WWE star Virgil turns 50 years old today while Headbanger Thrasher turns 43 years old and Jacques "The Mountie" Rougeau turns 52.

- Bill Goldberg wrote the following on Twitter:

"WWE or TNA ......anytime fans would chant my name years after I've retired ....it's an honor. Glass half-full."

- WWE's latest "Bring It Back" feature on their website looks at wrestling cruises from years ago - WWE's Wrestle Vessels and WCW's Bruise Cruise. WWE creative head Michael Hayes thinks the Wrestle Vessel would do good today for WWE. He said:

“I think it would do very well. It’s an opportunity for the people of the WWE Universe to share a cruise with WWE Superstars in a real exotic location. The performers all get to let their hair down a little bit, so you get a different side of us. I think that’s what a lot of our audience is looking for."

Several WWE Releases Confirmed; Including International Talents

By Andy Steven on 06/13/2012

Several WWE developmental releases have been made in the last week, reports Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com.

Eli Cottonwood, who appeared on WWE NXT, requested for his release from the company and had it granted. Reports suggest Cottonwood received a job offer outside of the wrestling business and decided to take it.

Jiro, who was originally trained in Japan by TAKA Michinoku's Kaientai-Dojo, has also been released, along with Benicio Salazar, a Mexican talent who worked under a mask in Mexico as El Hijo del Medico Asesino, and Sonny Elliot, a developmental talent from Australia, who have all been released from their developmental contracts.

All four wrestlers have been removed from the Florida Championship Wrestling roster page earlier this week.

Details on Recent Developments In Martha Hart's Lawsuit Against WWE

By Marc Middleton on 06/13/2012

- Earlier this week, WWE and the McMahons each filed motions to dismiss the lawsuit brought against them by Martha Hart and Owen Hart's estate. There have been attempts at settling the lawsuit but they have been unsuccessful. Martha's lawsuit has had some of the initial allegations thrown out already and now alleges:

* Owen's name would have reverted back to his usage and his usage alone in his passing, so WWE doesn't have the right to use his legal name to use, market and promote that name in their materials and DVD releases.

* That WWE released 8 DVD's and other items without proper payments to Owen's estate per his booking contract with Titan Sports, which required royalty payments continue after his death, per the original written contract that Owen signed.

* That WWE used original intellectual property including family photos, without permission from the estate.

* That the Owen Hart Foundation has been hurt through its unwanted association with WWE through their usage of Owen.

WWE Talent Wary Of Wrestling Ryback, McMahon Knockout Fallout, Ambrose

By Daniel Pena on 06/12/2012

- Dave Meltzer stated Tuesday on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE has Ryback continuously facing independent wrestlers at televised events because their contracted talent are wary of wrestling him. Additional details were not disclosed.

- WWE.com has posted a video of Michael McGillicutty, Tyson Kidd, Jack Swagger and Jerry Lawler reacting to Big Show knocking out Vince McMahon during the Chairman's return to Raw SuperShow.

- Dean Ambrose's dark match opponent at Tuesday's SmackDown taping in Manchester, New Hampshire was fellow WWE developmental wrestler Big E Langston. Langston, who was billed from Manchester, beat Ambrose. Prior to the match, Ambrose cut a heel promo denouncing the city of Manchester.

- Former WWE Diva Michelle McCool is today's featured star on WWE.com.

D'lo Did it first.

Kurt was so funny when he was doing the wholesome American hero gimmick.

Kurt was so funny when he was doing the wholesome American hero gimmick.

I see a lot of that in Daniel Bryan:

- Celebrating every victory, no matter how minor, like it was an Olympic gold medal
- Strict adherence to an ideology or way of life
- Making the most absurd and nonsensical statements with utter sincerity
- Comical obliviousness to crowd reaction

[YT]_q8i6QSavDA[/YT]

The quad line kills me everytime.

I miss that Kurt..milkman Kurt..rapping Kurt.

Hmm..you're right..Byran is close!

I wonder if we'll ever see 'the board' as on air characters.

AJ confirmed this on her twitter account.

aww, lol

And she's still about the same size! lol

Flair showing up on the 1000th Raw would be a mark out moment despite all his recent BS.

I'm guessing Christian's IC title reign is part of a reward for doing Slammiversary if he didn't really want to go.

AJ is awesome, she's such a fangirl! :D
