"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

Oh for God's sake. I can't even leave for a weekend in Edinburgh, without coming back to crap like this? I really can't be bothered going into this, as its 2am and I just want to go to sleep, but Sparta and LibrarianThorne, what BOTH of you did was extremely unprofessional. I have held both of you in high regard - as players and as people - so I have to say I'm very disappointed by your immature behaviour in this situation.

I'm glad you seem to be working towards resolving this, but more needs to be done. So much could have been done with the drama of the Ultimate Nullifier storyline. But did either of you play along with it? No, it became a bloody ego-trip, a p!ssing contest to see who could win some petty battle of wills between the two of you. Sparta, by nullifying Darkseid without his approval, you disregarded not only the integrity of your own confrontation, but the storylines of every other player in the RPG. Did you read any of the posts by the characters on the mothership? Don't you think "erasing" them would create some kind of problem? And destroying Darkseid's campaign with the push of a button completely ruins what I was setting up for Lex Luthor. It was lazy writing, plain and simple.

But that doesn't excuse LT's response. "I'm ignoring that post" is just about the most pathetic thing you can say in an RPG. If you are faced with a problem, you talk to the person involved, and DEAL WITH IT. And if you can't do that, you write around it. Just pretending that the problem you're faced with never happened does nothing to help the scenario, and just creates problems for the whole RPG.

Now, I've already taken much more time on this than I wanted to. Both of you - get this sorted. You've been with this RPG from the start. Do you really want to drive it into the ground? Because that's what your doing now. Sorry if I came in and stirred things up just when they were calming down, but I feel that - if I've been appointed as an AGM - I'm not going to stand back and let crap like this go on.

Keyser, I am in complete agreement with you. What I did, I did in anger. I'm sure if someone suddenly and against your wishes erased your character and any and all support your character had from existence, you'd be fairly ticked off too. It doesn't excuse what I did by any means, but I do not think the English language has enough descriptive adjectives to properly convey the amount of anger I had over the weekend.

Regardless, it's resolved now and I did learn a rather valuable lesson.

It's up to the people on the ships to decide if they want to be transported to Apokolips, or if they just want the ships to be transported and their characters to be on Earth...I dunno if thats actually how it would be, because I don't know exactly how the Nullifier works, but considering the circumstances, I think the people playing the characters on the ships can decide for themselves what they want to do so we can move this story along.

I think if getting transported to Apokalips would be great for them. Creed and Logan would have plenty of badies to kill. Peter would have a hell of a time with all the technology and science trying to figure out how to get them back home. Olli and Fury would become even more paranoid as Ollie sees what a true dictator can do, and Fury sees the real threat Earth is facing and wants to make SHIELD even for powerful with more control (maybe partnering up with Checkmate). Which would lead to some spirited discussions between Ollie and Fury over freedom vs security.

Pus, I'm planning a rescue mission for those who were left behind who want to go to Apokolips.

Awsomr, im glad the whole situation has been resolved. I like the idea of us being on apokalipse and tryin to figure a way back. This should be alot of fun.

I was referring to the fact that during the heat of the argument you were the only one who seemed to be reasonable in posts. It was more of a compliment in your manner than anything else.

Ah, sorry, as the only female in all the RPG's I'm a bit touchy about stuff that could be taken as umm..yeah....;)

Thank you.

And now for the bad news.

Amidst all this drama I've gotten sick..like sick sick and I have serval exam's I have to try to study for. So I'm gonna be out of touch for a few days as I ight my sickness and try to catch up on classwork.

SF can bunny Dinah around, howeve don't make her complaciant. :o Like that little:

"I motion for Dinah to come over and comfort her, while I examine the Nullifier." :p ;)

**EDIT**
A few questions:

1) Where shall the new 'group' reband? (I think we need to help the civilians but we have several options....The Baxter Building, Stark Towers or for more mixture, an old abandoned JSA building?)

2) Sparta..what shall we do with Sue?

3) When and if we reband together to discuss the next course of action do we get to pick a name? :)

A few answers:

1) Stark's mansion, you know, the one across from Central Park.

2) I don't know.

3) I have an idea for the JLA (Justice League of Avengers) that should be cool, but we won't be named or official until after this whole Apokolips rescue mission.

Ya'll who know me know what I'm going to say next:
Forgetting that I'm sick and all but can we slow the plans for that down?
So that we can have some character development?

:( This RPG to to dominantly Marvel. :(

Shiny.

Though I'm still pushing for the JSA thing..it kinda goes with my treatment of Dinah as the 'ghost' of The Black Canary..or something like that..:o ;)

Still, no offense to the Marvel characters....anything besides a Marvel HQ would be fine with me.

Don't worry, I'll handle it. C'mon, have I ever disappointed you?

Well, it would be an interesting change to have something completely new. A JLA/Avengers amalgam would obviously have ties to the government, so having their base be in Washington DC makes all the sense in the world.

1) We could use the Baxter Building, but if you want more DC locations, then wherever is fine with me

2) I'm not even sure myself lol I'm not sure how and when i'm going to have Reed reappear...I have different ideas for him coming back right away and him being gone a while...I don't know if I want him to be gone a while though...we can discuss ideas over PM

Guess who's back...back again...Batsy's back...tell some men--I mean--tell a friend...na na na, na na na...

:)

Sparta*, Iron Man has the Nullifier with him. I figure, since that Motherbox melded with his armor, he'd be the one guy to figure out where it sent the ships, and maybe Reed.

I thought, and correct me if I'm wrong, that if the Nullifier is used, it also ceases to exist. There techincally shouldn't be a Nullifier left for Tony to examine. I must admit to my knoweldge being fuzzy in this regard.

Well, Sparta's post did say that the Nullifier was left, and since we've already changed it by allowing it to transport a bunch of things/people/deities, I don't see why that couldn't be changed.

Posted a new one, just in case y'all didn't notice, and I'll do my Doctor Octopus sometime in the week. :)

Oh...okay, i'll edit my post. So you want to be the guy who brings Reed back? If so I'll PM you my ideas...

Right now, I want to be the guy who goes to Apokolips and saves everyones asses.

But trying to search for Reed can be a side project, though I'd rather someone else find him.

Alright then, I'll just have Sue take care of the Reed situation...just be sure to drop off the Nullifier at the Baxter Building whenever you can so the FF can keep watch over it, and ultimatley return it to the Silver Surfer
