Hey guys. I apologize, but I might be dropping out of this here RPG pretty soon. Now now, before accusations start flying about whatever, I'll explain it out. For a while, I've just set up my Power Girl, while trying to decide what to do with her. But the truth of the matter is, to me, that there's nothing TO do with her here. And the character I REALLY wanted to use, Shazam, can't be used without his Captain, Billy. And I haven't seen him around at all lately. So that's a huge buzz kill.

I mean, I'll stick around a few more days, see what's up, then decide. But I apologize in advance for just idling about while trying to get some form of inspiration.

sorry! sorry! ok, my network decided it didn't want to work any more, so i've only been able to use my dads pc for the past week.

however, dads pc has so much filtering crap on it, so much virus and spyware detecting bollox, and what seems like a billion firewalls that the only thing i seem to have been able to do on here is edit one post. when i tried to actually make posts, the network freezes up.

grrrr.

any way, back now (altho uni starts this weeks, so i won't post as often as i did), so i'll post something today!!

Yeah, I've noticed this too. Though, in all honesty, things should be improving soon.

My arc stalled a bit because Midnight Ice had troubles with his internet connection. But now he's back, Lex Luthor and Captain America can hold their press conference, which can kickstart the next arc in the game, and hopefully help build up to the Darkseid invasion.

And speaking of the press conference, its still a day away in RPG time. So, if anybody has some stuff to do "through the night" in RPG time, please tell me, and I'll let you make those post before moving the narrative forward a day.

Also, if anyone (like Clark Kent or Peter Parker or Dinah Lance, for example) wants to be at Luthor's press conference, please feel free to set up your arrival before Luthor begins. I'd like to have my post up tonight, or tomorrow at the latest.

i have an idea.why not set up some form of target to aim for then people can get all psyched about something.for instance why not decided that all heroes are gonna dispence of their enemies and start talks of forming a Justice League style group of heroes?

i think we need to get Martian Manhunter in on the action too so i might pick him up soon

I started school again and took a sabbatical...it was odd really I had this huge urge to read a book. I ended up finishing one in one afternoon.

I got internet back and my house!

I didn't intend for it to be scathing. I just couldn't help move the RPG along with the way my characters were situated.
Oh, also the whole after party thing it never got really resolved people branched out into days later etc stuff like that. It was all very confusing.

"One Universe" RPG SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name: Thepersonwhowillonedaydestroyyourmiserablelittleplanet.

Character you would like to play and a brief description of his/her powers and Bio: The OG Green Lantern. The great Alan Scott himself. The man who once said, "I wrote the book on willpower!" His power is that of the Starheart, a conglomoration of magical items brought together by the Guardians of Oa. While they have their own little Green Lantern thing going, he's his own Green Lantern. With nearly limitless power. A body composed of the fire of the Starheart, he looks as youthful as he ever did. His powers are very similar to a normal Green Lanterns, basically doing whatever he wants them to do, just that his powers are magical, and instead of a yellow "impurity" he has a wood weakness. (Maybe it's a wood impurity, and the Starheart decided to trap Yggdrasil or something.) Since before WW2, and after, he's been protecting truth, liberty, and scoping out the girl across the street via a Green Lantern made telescope. J/k The American Way. With no little to no breathing room for mistakes, he's definitely one hard ass who just wants to do the right thing, and actually treat everybody fairly.

Can a relic, who's power may make him one of the greatest ever, truly reform a world that most likely left him behind when he went into semi-retirement, only to help when he's most needed?


Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Unfortunately, he doesn't say Shazam. But he's got a fully illustrated lantern on his chest. Not like one of those lazy ass Green Lantern's with SYMBOLS of something reminiscient of a lantern on theirs. And he comes equipped with an pirate sized buckle.

2. He's the only blonde Green Lantern.

3. He said it best. He wrote the book on willpower. That, and he looks late twenties, early thirties, despite being eighty something. Thank you Starheart.

What can you bring to this game? Exaggeratingly, unnecessarily long posts that do nothing but bring Sparta's eyes pain.
