"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

Anyone have any big, epic arcs in mind for the second season?

How could I have a proper villain without an epic plan for season 2?

Suffice it to say, I'm working on integrating as much of the Marvel and DC cosmics as I can, meshing the two histories and mythologies as best I can. And what would this RPG be without Galactus?

I entertained the though of joining as the Surfer, and coming to Earth to help fight Darkseid's armies. That way Earth will be weaker for the arival of Galactus. Then the heroes would have some time to prepare.

It depends on when the second season is starting. All I know is that I want to have Superman leading (Or co-leading) The Justice League Of Avengers by that time.

Aren't we a while off season 2 yet?

I hope so, this season hasn't been very long

I'm enjoying your Joker, Question

Well, you've just finished the major arc.
In most of the other RPGs that'd mean the first season is near it's end. Course there's always the cleanup or what not (characters stuck on Apokolips).
So you could always wait until that's finished with then end it, or just end it after everyone gets a few closing posts and set up for the second season.
Or just screw seasons all together.

Yeah, perhapes we should end early.

I disagree. The proper end for the season is when the heroes return from Apokolips and the Justice League of Avengers is formed.

Well, how long do you all plan to have the rescue and formation arc run? Two weeks? A month? (insert other period of time here)?

I'd hope we could get it done in shorter than a month, but who knows?

If you want to join, why not join now? I've tried to include as many NPC hero appearances in my posts as possible, so it's not like there's a lack of characters to go around.

I hate the whole "let's end the season at point X" idea. Why can't we just enjoy the RPG, rather than thinking of starting a second season already? This has only been running for, what, 3 months?

Dr Doom is still waiting in the wings, and I still have plenty of plans for Lex Luthor. The RPG is just getting started. Usually we start a new season once the RPG starts losing steam. I see there beings lots of potential for this season before starting a new one.

I agree

Damn, I have so many cool ideas for Doom...I need to start posting as him more.

I was planning on joining before the season ended. I just was curious how much time I had to join and set up a character is all.

Well, have no worries. There is plenty of time to join. The more the merrier! :)

There's probably still a long ways to go before it ends, so you probably have plenty of time. From the looks of things, not many people want to end the season for awhile.

Then this is the perfect time, for either a hero or villain. Take advantage of the mayhem caused by Darkseid's invasion (which, by the way, will get expounded on in the history thing I'm working on), or try and help out however you can.

Personally, I'd love to see someone play Thanos, so Darkseid has someone to rail against. As, unless he's out conquering Earth, there's not much I can do with him unless someone plays Surfer, Thanos, Galactus, or a New God of choice.

Well, I'm already Thanos in the MU RPG, so I don't think I'll take him over here.
I was thinking about Thor, or bringing the Legion of Superheroes into the fold. There's also a few villains I am considering.
Have to wait until Twy returns since I've got some things to run by her.

As for Darkseid, he could always spend some time tormenting the Kryptonian or the heroes stuck on his planet.

We know, but if you heard the word "Apokolips" without any context or anything around it, how would you spell it?

Well, the characters aren't spelling it, they're saying it and thinking it. It's the people RPing the characters who are doing the spelling.
So if you all know the corrent spelling I don't see how that the characters not knowing it would make any difference.

I think it would be good to differentiate between Apokolips and Apocalypse because they are different things...and the only way the reader will know which one is being referred to is based on the spelling lol

But the characters don't know the actual meaning of the word they heard, they're thinking of the end of the world, not an actual place. As it is Tony thinks that Apokolips is Hell.

Okay, cause I wasn't sure either, I thought you meant the actual Apocalypse
