"One Universe" Marvel & DC Crossover RPG!

But the characters don't know the actual meaning of the word they heard, they're thinking of the end of the world, not an actual place. As it is Tony thinks that Apokolips is Hell.
Yeah, but I'm just saying that what they think and say has no bearing on whether the owner of said character is able to spell it correctly or not. That doesn't just go for Apokolips. It goes for everything.

The spelling, and what not, is for the use of the readers, not the characters.
It's just like in the comics when Apokolips comes up. Even when a character has no idea what's being talked about it's spelled correctly.
Why? So that the readers can differentiate between the planet and the standard Apocalypse.

I'm gonna drop a Victor Von Doom post after school today...I need to carry on the story I started way back because I have some good ideas for it, and Doom kicks ass

Anyone have any big, epic arcs in mind for the second season?
Wha..? We JUST started!

There's gonna be a wedding?

I just want lots of character development scattered amidst fights.

Master Bruce said:
It depends on when the second season is starting. All I know is that I want to have Superman leading (Or co-leading) The Justice League Of Avengers by that time.

Also there has been no 'name' agreed on and frankly I think it would be fun to have a whole scene with the heroes arguing which name they should go by. :D

Aren't we a while off season 2 yet?
Concurred.

I want more character development before this season is over. No offense to the rest of ya'll but the character interaction seems flat..like really really two dimensional. That might be because we don't know eachother (as characters) real well, but I think we need to take the time out of fights and have our characters interact. Much like OC, LT and Q are doing with their characters on the ship.

I agree Twy  Our characters need to get to know eachother. And as far as weddings go, I still need to have one for Reed and Sue when he rematerializes lol

I was just calling it that cause it was mentioned by someone else. But yeah, I agree. That would be cool.

Any ideas for names?

"What About... The Justice League Of Avengers?"

"... Please tell me he's joking."

Who wants to be a part of this yet to be named team? I want Reed to be a member for sure, as well as Sue. Johnny and Ben are gonna be on their own because I want to try something different then the stereotypical FF

Superman all but has to be apart of it. He's the leader of the Justice League, and I can see him and Captain America working together to keep the team in balance. (Once Cap is freed of Luthor's misconceptions about the heroes, of course.)

Why don't we just have Superman (or someone else) call a meating of the worlds heroes, instant character interaction.

o.O

Darn..I need to plan SF's and I's later then we can't have two weddings too close together..unless you make yours small.

What colors were you thinking of and where? I don't want to be too similer.

Also who are you going to be inviting?

Awesomeness!

And since I'm basing Dinah off the whole JLA:Year One it'll be fun.:(

Has anyone besides me read that? Because I do plan on making reference to it.

"The JSA would have taken him down already."

Yea, Superman was definatley born to be leader of this team. I'm excited to see what the final roster will be/ what our name will be/ what our headquarters will be

Well I want Reeds wedding to be a decent event, so if you want to do yours, and your worried about them being too close together, I'll just postpone mine until season 2...i'm in no rush to do it, but eventually it needs to be done  :D

Ferret and I talked about it, and I agree with the way he's using it. In character, Tony's never seen Apokolips, and when confronted with strobing images of the hellish landscapes of the world, he's not going to nautrally assume "Oh, that's the place where that Darkseid chap is. Maybe I ought to go and have some tea with the fellow!". He's going to go "What the hell is this? Fire, destruction, pain and wrath and ruin? This has got to be hell. 'Apocalypse'? I thought this place was hell? What's going on?"

It's a great bit of characterization, and manages to keep out of character thoughts... out of character.

If your gonna be that way then I insist that The first HQ of our group is the JSA old HQ.

Please? Dinah is being pushed off to the side, because she's a woman and because she's none powered. :( Let her at least be the semi connected one.

*puppy dog eyes*

(Also I think them making jokes about the old dust JSA HQ would be fun)

Just remember mines a milemarker in weddings, a bridge between the two comic companies! :p ;)

Ya'll think purple/indigo and silver are good wedding colors? It was that, or red and gold. :o

Silver is always good for weddings, but I don't think the color is overly important :p

For Reed and Sue's wedding, I'm totally going to have a part with Stan Lee and Jack Kirby being refused entrance (lol, throw in a nice nod to the original comics)

If Batman and/or Green Arrow and/or Iron Man are gonna be apart of this team, we could probably afford to upgrade the HQ with better equipment and make it like a cross between the Avengers Mansion and the Watchtower... So, It really makes no difference to me. I like the idea of using the old JSA HQ, too, personally. But it's a group decision, so...

It's MY decision! I'm pulling Gender here! :p

"Let the woman win." :o

and yes..I know....Tony will do anything for Dinah so no problem getting equipment bought. ;)

I have a dress picked out..the place...and we're stuck on the colors..also we need to do the guest list make an invite and write the vows.
We're describing it to the tiniest detail. :)

If anyone from my family walked in on me last night they would have flipped at my IM screen.

Whoa! You're going all out  Thats awesome. I don't think I'm going to go into that much detail with Reed and Susan's wedding. I"m just going to keep it cas'

Like I said..it's Tony Starks wedding so it kinda has to be HUGE.

Though Dinah's happy with just a small wedding Tony has his rep. to uphold. :(

It's hard planning a wedding in character.

OKAY, so heres a sample quick check list for the future ya'll can vote *if it's approved by the mods*

1: Where should the first HQ be for the group?

2: Name Suggestions *will be used in posts*:

3: Who will be a part of the team?

1: Where should the first HQ be for the group?

2: Name Suggestions *will be used in posts*:

3: Who will be a part of the team?

1. I'm cool wherever, as long as the majority of peeps agree

2. Justice League:Avengers (?) (The name would be cool if it was totally original as well, and didn't involve the words: Justice, Avengers, or League)

3. Whoever wants to join   (Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Girl will be there for sure)

1: Where should the first HQ be for the group? Well, ya'll know my choice. Old JSA HQ

2: Name Suggestions *will be used in posts*: I don't care as long as it's argued over IC

3: Who will be a part of the team? Black Canary! *salutes*

1: Where should the first HQ be for the group? The ole' JSA Headquarters.

2: Name Suggestions *will be used in posts*: The League Of Avengers. The Justice League Of Avengers is actually pretty cool too, I think.

3: Who will be a part of the team? The Man Of Steel, definatley. Hell, He's born to be the leader of it. ;)

...

And no, when I say 'Man Of Steel', I'm not talking about Iron Man. :o
