To touch on time travel, it works depending on how it's used. I used Kang briefly in the Marvel RPG and no one cared. Course, I didn't go using time manipulation as a weapon, which is something Kang would not do (it's his canvas, not a weapon).
And we used the Legion of Superheroes in the DC RPG last season, and it worked well.

You just have to make sure you know the character well enough, and don't abuse the power is all. If you're careful with it, you can come up with some very interesting and epic stories.

Reed and Tony have a history as well...they are old friends...that was pretty evident when Sentry was playing Ironman but not so much anymore.

Hmm.... sorry about that, I didn't really catch anything like that whilst reading Sentry's run.

Hmm, time travel. Gives a guy ideas...crazy ideas.

Kang and Chronos could show up with a team of villains from the future from the future (Doom 2099, Hulk 2099, Lightning Lord, Saturn Queen, and Cosmic King) or maybe Kang and Chronos can inlist a team of time traveling heroes (Spider-Man 2099, Iron Man 2020, Booster Gold, Cosmic boy, Ultra boy and any other Legionaires) to help them further their own ends.

I'm just spouting out ideas as they come to me, so let me know what you think, whether it's a good idea, or you just want me to shut up.

Yes, I would love to bring the Legion of Superheroes into the mix. Have to mix in a few of Marvel's future heroes in as well.

Maybe have them come back in time to help against a major threat or something. Or maybe a group of Legionnaires are transported back through time after a fight with Immortus, or the Time Trapper, or some other time related villain.

Still thinking on that part.

I'd personally prefer the starting roster to be fairly small, probably five members (in a nod to both the teams that are our inspiration).

So far we have:

Iron Man
Black Canary
The Flash

Which leaves us with two more openings. Personally I'd like for Superman and Captain America to join, but that's just me.

I hate to do this too you guys considering that iv just joined this RPG, but my dad just dropped a big bombshell on me. My mom was diagnosed with colon cancer two years ago and shes been fighting it ever sense. Well my dad told me today that theres nothing the docters can do anymore, hospice is bringng one of those hospital beds to our house and start giving her medicine to relieve her pain. But shes going to need me to help take care of her so im not going to have enough time to concentrate on three differant RPGs so im going to have to drop out. Im sorry.

Jay will be making the rounds soon. Delivering invites to heroes he's heard about so they can join or ignore them.

And about the Legion and time traveling villains. Kang and Chronos would be great villains, I'm sure if we wanted to stretch things we could also use the Time Trapper, Nimrod and some version of Brainiac.

Throw in special guests like Bishop, Booster Gold, Spider-Man 2099 (cause ya can't have enough Spider-Men), Iron Man 2020, any character from the 853rd century (DC One Million)

Possibilities are endless.
