EDIT: Nevermind. Answered my own question.

...I may have started getting the application ready when wieg started talking roster purge. One minute after dropping him, someone swoops in to apply. That's gotta be some kinda record.
Batman = Mark Wahlberg, Superman = Will FerrellI'll need to fill you in on what's going on with the World's Finest.
*loads shotgun to be safe*Does the 24 hour rule apply to EBJ? I know it doesn't to me, RR hasn't been around in a few months.
Fixed.That's a good point.
Robin is Approved. ONLY* since it's a Psych sample.
I'm Peter Parker, and this is my partner, Shutterfly Simmons. And my plan of having Robin and Spidey being the Shawn and Gus of OU is almost complete.
And my plan of having Robin and Spidey being the Shawn and Gus of OU is almost complete.
At first I thought Robin had to be Gus, but now that I think about it...if Robin is Shawn, that makes Batman Henry. And that's awesome.![]()
Heh. And the irony? I was eyeing Robin, but something else seems to have opened up.
"One Universe" RPG SEASON IV SIGN-UP FORM
Screen Name: Eddie Brock
Character you would like to play: Kal-El / Clark Joseph Kent / Superman
Powers: Superhuman strength, superhuman speed, invulnerability, flight, superhuman hearing, heat vision, X-Ray vision, and arctic breath.
Brief biography of the character's history: When Krypton was threatened by Galactus, the renowned scientist Jor-El hatched a plan to save his only son, Kal-El, from certain destruction. Building a spacecraft for the infant, Jor-El launched his son into space mere moments before Krypton was destroyed. Kal-El's ship found its way to Earth, where the child was discovered by Jonathan and Martha Kent, simple farmers in the middle of Kansas.
Under Earth's yellow sun, Kal-El - now known as Clark Kent - developed many extraordinary abilities. To protect himself from a world that wasn't ready for him, Clark buried his secret behind an unassuming farmboy persona and a pair of thick-rimmed glasses. Clark honed his abilities on the farm, preparing himself to meet his destiny.
When Clark grew from boy to man, he left Smallville behind and moved to the big city of Metropolis. There, Clark pursued his passion in journalism with the largest newspaper in the city, The Daily Planet. Clark worked alongside perennial Pulitzer contender Lois Lane, who viewed Clark as part annoyance, part charity case. In time, Lois and Clark developed a strong friendship and connection and established themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the newsroom.
Hearing the world cry for a hero, Clark donned traditional Kryptonian colors as well as his family crest and became Superman. He has since learned the true nature of his origins, all the while standing tall among his peers in the superhero community. Superman became a symbol of truth, justice, and the American way.
List a few reasons why you have chosen that character: Why wouldn't I choose Superman? He's probably the most multilayered character in comics. From the unassuming reporter to the last son of Krypton to the leader of this generation's heroes, Superman brings so much to the table as a character. His unwavering moral character sets him apart from his modern age comrades. In world of gray, Superman stands as a shining example of black-and-white heroics.
What can you bring to this game?: Passion, as well as someone ready and willing to face the responsibility that comes with playing Big Blue.
Color and font you plan on using for your character's speech: Blue Verdana for Clark / Bold Blue Verdana for Superman
How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG: As many as it takes.
Please provide a sample post with original content in the style that you plan to write your character in (must be at least 5 paragraphs long and contain at least 3 line of dialogue):
The first few rays of sunshine creep the window as a new day dawns. Dancing along the bed, the sunlight flutters over my eyes until I am shaken from my peaceful slumber. Groaning softly, I roll over and yawn deeply. I rub my eyes for a moment before opening them, beholding the cozy room basked in a pleasant orange hue. I don't think anyone can appreciate the miracle of each new day until they've experienced one on a farm. Mornings on a farm are always surreal experiences - the kind that make you feel lucky to be alive.
I toss my sheet aside and slink out of bed. My back cracks as I stretch, my fingertips gently grazing the ceiling. After throwing on a red flannel shirt and some jeans, I make my bed meticulously. It may have been years since I performed this routine, but it still comes naturally to me.
I snatch my cell phone off the dresser and examine it.
1 NEW TEXT MESSAGE - LOIS
Done playing farmboy yet?
I smile softly as I think of Lois. I wonder what she's been doing during my absence. Without me around to talk to, Jimmy's probably been wearing on her last nerves. The important thing, though, is that she thought of me. I know I sound like a crushing school boy, but it means a lot to me to be able to wake up to a text message from Lois. I half-expected her to not even notice I was gone.
NEW MESSAGE:
A few more days.
I slowly descend the stairs into the kitchen, where Ma is already hard at work preparing a hearty breakfast. The smell is nothing short of intoxicating. Pa is seated at the table with today's copy of The Daily Planet. He sees me out of the corner of his eye and looks up. "Morning, son."
Pulling out a chair, I sit down and respond, "Morning." I turn to Ma. "What smells so good?"
Smiling, Ma explains, "Garden omelettes, bacon, and hash browns." As she speaks, she flips the omelettes with a spatula. The frying pan sizzles, and I nearly salivate.
"She's not up yet?" I ask. I'm not surprised. She's a teenager. I mean, I always got up early on the weekends, but Kara's not like me. She didn't grow up on a farm. For that matter, she didn't grow up on Earth, either. "I'll let her sleep in," I announce to no one in particular. I reach across the table and grab the front page of the newspaper while Pa reads the sports.
I smile again when I see Lois's name in the byline.
Do you know how to post pictures on the hype boards?:
