Only in comic book movies does the loved one, who's been kidnapped FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF DRAWING OUT THE HERO-point out that the hero will come to their rescue and/or foil the villain's plan. (Batman Forever, Superman Returns)

Lois wasn't kidnapped to draw out Superman. He didn't even know she'd be randomly wandering onto his boat.

Only in Comic book movies can the hero do his regular day job all day and spend all night patrolling or stopping crime and never be tired. (Superman, Batman, DD etc.)

Well in the BB it wasn't that bad, especially since Bats slept a good portion of the day but in other versions, not so much.

It's funny cause it happens with the majority of heroes at least Spidey keeps losing his day jobs because of it and the photography thing at least it's freelance.

But anyways, that's one of many reasons why I'm a Spidey fan. I mean, I WISH I could just walk out on a meeting w/my boss w/o even excusing myself, (Superman) come back from an assignment empty-handed (Superman II) & go MIA for FIVE years (Superman Returns) & still keep my job.

Torso's a bigger target, and it's not always immediately known if the person has on a bullet-proof vest. In the case of Blade, going for the head shot would have been a bit malicious. Blade only had his sword out and he was a good few yards away from the cops, so they weren't really in danger. The next time they shot at him, he was running away. Again, no danger to them and no need to take a deliberate killshot.

Okay-but again, they see the vest, shoot it, then wonder why it didn't work. And for that matter, they had no reason to shoot him at all,. They told him to freeze. He stood up. They fired.
