Of course yes! He will probably do just like that rapper who went nuts to the stage because he didn't win the prize for best video. LOL I can picture Ratner doing the same and saying the Oscar lost its credibility. Since X3 has done more than Jurassic Park 3 on memorial day, and Ratner now condsiders himself better than Spielberg

Well i doubt they would win, i think last years winners where The Chronicles of Narnia and my god they had some good costume/makeup.

X3 doesn't come near their range, if anything i bet it goes to Pirates.

Haha...and the sad part is, he probably thinks he deserves one.

I can see them getting a special effects nomination, if anything because of the de-aging effects, which were quite cool. But I think POTC2 will definitely win that one...the FX in that movie were amazing.

For FX and score, I think it's a perfectly acceptable contender. But there's a lot of competition, especially on the FX front. The score, though, was outstanding.

The score was very good, and it has the fortune of being in a Williams free year. It will definitely be nominated, I think, unless Powell's United 93 is nominated instead.

Star Wars? Spider-Man? Only in recent years have the Academy gotten slightly more conservative in what they nominate, which is why part of me thinks that United 93 will be Powell's vehicle (and rightly so. It's better than X-Men).
