The mutant body that Apocalypse chooses to inhabit at the beginning of the film turns out to be a bad choice, which results in him being stuck for a long time.
So like, I was reading this article in Slashfilm and like, according to Singer, Apocalypse is not in a physical form like he moves from body to body and that he's an energy. So if his physical form in this film is defeated.... he could just transform into another body, kinda like what Professor X did in X-Men 3.

yeah back in the day and he looked weird with the pupils in the 80's, which is why most images from the source material have been pupil-less for the past 25 years or soYou should see source.
I'm hoping that this performance of Apocalypse can go down as one of the greatest for supervillains.
A lot of people didn't think the guy from Sucker Punch would be a good choice for Apocalypse, but I believe Isaac will give us a performance to remember.
Looks like he's metallic.

Which suggests to me that the (Oscar Issac) body we see him in is one that he may be stuck with thus giving us his signature look without him being able to move into a non-Apocalypse looking body
