Really not feeling the look from the footage. The one time an X-Men character could've benefited from a muted color scheme, and of course that's who Singer puts as much color as possible.
Getting Ivan from Power Rangers vibe to be frank. Oscar and the rest of the footage was top notch though!
Word, I'm diggin his armor look from the short tease. And I'm sure there's a better shot of him in that trailer that'll give us a better look.
It's a little frustrating how BvS, Suicide Squad, and Deadpool trailers are out there, but X-Men isn't. They must've really not wanted people to see it.
Yes be patient a lot of the movies you mentioned have been filming for longer so it's very understandable they would have more put together. Can't rush everything because then you won't have any surprises.
I definitely picked up on the Ivan Ooze look, but it wasn't a big deal to me. I have faith that Bryan Singer and Oscar Isaac will do justice to Apocalypse. Oscar's comments at the panel about Apocalypse's character stood out especially in a good way to me.
I'm with Boom on Oscar's voice too. Very nuanced. It's a shame that apparently he's going to dub over it in post, but I doubt they plan to go for a seriously different approach vocally to the final product.
Well, to be fair, the lighting/contrast in the the teaser itself is already dark so that could've given him the purple-ish shade then add the quality of the camera from the leak. I hope Bryan shares a concept art for him though. But I really like his look so far. I mean, it's enough to make one say "Who the f are you?" lol
I was wondering, in that leaked footage Magneto saying "who the f are you?" and Apocalypse saying "Come and see" are probably two separate scenes right? It's low quality but it seems as if magneto is in his home and Apocalypse is at his place.
