Apocalypse Oscar Isaac IS Apocalypse

It's funny how the one costume you'd never expect to get in live action proper (Psylocke) is pictured right next to a version of Apocalypse I wouldn't recognize if you didn't tell me it was Apocalypse.

As of this moment I am not in love with the look for Apoc, but before seeing him in the movie I thought the same of QS, then loved him in the movie, so I will wait until more is revealed to properly judge.

Ah yes, the classic "fans pick the most mundane things to obsessively complain about" trope. Right alongside Lois Lane's hair color, Superman's underwear, and other such meaningless things.

He looks ok to me. He's got sort of a "pharaoh" type of deal going on with his head-piece there.

anybody who brings up ivan ooze after seeing that cover has to be trolling at this point. i think it's an interesting look. i will say that i like that he looks more like a human.

don't really like the look of his face, but i'll wait and see what it looks like on screen. lots of folks thought quicksilver looked like crap, and he end up stealing the show.

This. Quicksilver looked really bad at the promo pictures but he had the best scene in Days of Future Past.

I guess it depends on who you ask. While most seem to have been wanting his classic costume, I was hoping for something more like his Further Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix/Apocalypse vs Dracula costume. Which, I kind of am. Considering he didn't have the lips in the stinger, I'm not surprised he doesn't have them here. But, there are enough callbacks to his classic look that it pleases me.

While most seem to have been wanting his classic costume, I was hoping for something more like his Further Adventures of Cyclops & Phoenix/Apocalypse vs Dracula costume. Which, I kind of am. Considering he didn't have the lips in the stinger, I'm not surprised he doesn't have them here. But, there are enough callbacks to his classic look that it pleases me.

I'm not in the boat of him having to be huge. His vs. Dracula look was fine. The head is just so off to me.

I do agree that the facial prosthetics are weird. But I kind of prefer the cowl instead of bald head + markings.

They could definitely pass as half siblings. Apocalypse luckily didnt take after their mom.

So far the costumes look pretty awful this time around. Olivia Munn's especially.

The only thing I'm not digging so much about Apocalypse is the facial make up. It kinda reminds me of Kelsey Grammer's beast make up which I wasn't too keen on. I also prefer the Depictions of when Apocalypse is more of a Taller Physically imposing figure, but then again, I don't know if he will be like that in the film at some point . I think the costume itself is fine, its just something about the makeup seems off for my tastes .

I just feel like they lost Oscar Issac in the process. I think they could've done Apocalypse justice without putting such excessive make-up on him.

I would imagine Oscar Isaac didn't take this role to look like Oscar Isaac.

If we lose Oscar Isaac in the pursuit of the character Apocalypse, that's a good thing. It's called acting.
