Our "Space Princess": David Corenswet IS Clark Kent/Superman!

Oh, he does. I'd even go so far as to say that it hinders his acting ability. On screen or off screen, he never comes off as relaxed or down-to-earth, if that makes any sense.

uh....he's generally relaxed when doing PR, especially back when he was doing the rounds for MOS on Graham Norton's show:

Frick man... I am proper excited. Knowing that Gunn and Co know we are tired of dark brooding Supes mixed with Corenswet and Brosnahan just Argh! Its an exciting time to be a Supes fan again.

Having to wait out all of Synder mess for so long, I really hope this is properly well made. I want to be able to want to watch this movie over and over. I watched MOS once and could never be bothered to watch it again because its such a drag and feels all wrong.

Exciting times!

Can I get fan art in this art style please? :atp:

^ Dan Mora FTW indeed. And THAT confident, tongue in cheek humour in those panels is exactly something Superman needs. It marries very well with the interview posted above... AND it's something I think Gunn could pull off.

I do have to say I am morbidly curious to see Corenswet's Superman interacting with Peacemaker's cast lmao Especially Cena and Freddie Stroma
Yeah big time, I would love for Supes to feature in one of the more R rated series and be around Peacemaker as he is running his mouth swearing and Supes is humored "Does he ever not swear?"
I dont want him to be offended but rather surprised but not one to tell someone to stop the potty mouth.

I think him and Cena would be pretty fun seeing how Cena portrays that sort of all-american machismo that'd just be funny to see juxtaposed to the all-american boyscout charm that Corenswet has.

And I'm suddenly reminded that David will be not just our Superman in the movies, but (if Legacy's successful) he's gonna be across TV, video games and animation too. Bless. :ilv:
I think his Juilliard training will help a lot with allowing him to transition easily into mocap and voice acting for both those things too. A lot of people are weary of having screen actors voicing their characters in animation but honestly even with no prior experience I feel it really is a matter of having a good voice and good training; Kevin Conroy had no voice acting experience prior to voicing Batman for example.

All the more reason as to why Lee Pace would be his perfect counterpart as Batman too.

Man all those interviews with Corenswet just highlights how much natural charm he oozes.

I think getting him on press tours is going to be a major factor in getting people excited for his Superman.

Routh for example, who is terrific in the role and clearly has that humble sweetness in him that you want in Superman, always seemed shy and a little overwhelmed. He came across as a incredibly nice, but his inexperience in interviews came through. Cavill seemed a little stiff and more proper if you will when he did press.

Corenswet is loose yet commands your attention in a good way when he speaks and he seems like the guy everyone would want around.

Dan Mora ftw.

Yes to both the overall look of that art style and the confident, tongue in cheek humor as inspiration for David's Superman!
