So far, X-Men Apocalypse seems to be fun.
That Quicksilver spectacle is awesome.

I thought it was pretty decent. Certainly better than a couple other comic book movies that came out this year. After originally watching it in theaters, I gave it a 6.5/10.

Haven't bought it on Blu-ray yet though.

I decided to look up careers of actors and actresses after taking part in Spider-Man, the ones with good ongoing career are; J. K. Simmons, James Franco, Emma Stone, Bryce Dallas Howard, and Willem Dafoe.
Most of the rest met a rocky uneventful career.

I thought it was pretty decent. Certainly better than a couple other comic book movies that came out this year. After originally watching it in theaters, I gave it a 6.5/10.

Haven't bought it on Blu-ray yet though.

Out of the 5 I watched this year, I think it's second best, and an underrated movie to be honest. I gave it a 9.5/10 upon initial viewing.
I'll probably find more things to nitpick in later viewings.

I thought Apocalypse was pretty bad. 5/10 at best from me.

We saw what Singer could do with DOFP, one of the best CBMs overall to me and then he totally mailed it in with crappy characters, cliches, and unimaginative, vaguely-defined stakes and consequences with Apocalypse. Thank God we're getting fresh blood on that franchise.

Like with Apocalypse (sigh) there's a lot of really topical potential in a villain like Sinister, so we'll see. I have higher hopes now that Singer's gone, but idk. FOX hasn't handled their properties extremely well overall.

I agree! To me, it's only slightly above Suicide Squad out of all the comic book films this year.

I thought Suicide Squad had more enjoyable characters. Really the highlights of Apocalypse were seeing Fassbender as Magneto (but they did the SAME. DAMN. STORYLINE. AGAIN.), McAvoy as Xavier, and Sheridan as Cyclops. Nightcrawler was pretty good too.

Have you seen the deleted scene at the mall? Totally superfluous, but what fun it is to view lol.

Spidey's theme is easily amazing, this way is good too.
I don't have appreciation for big parts of the soundtrack for that movie, I prefer the tracks composed by James Horner.
