Used right he could be more talented Diesel whose quads don't tear.

Cole"ooh mmyy, look who has joined the wwe its Stuart Nash"

Still waiting for the WWE to use the name "Lance Uppercut."

You know, TNA are bunch of idiots. Given Morgan's look and the fact that he's a well spoken guy, he would be the perfect guy to do media appearances. He's one of the most marketable younger guys they have.

Going through that made me think about The Genius, which lead me to this on you tube.

Best heel in the world, Chael Sonnen, tallks about his strength and conditioning coach Stone Cold Steve Austin. [YT]ytbPB6wRUkk[/YT]

:lmao: God I love Chael!!!

This is the first time I've seen this clip. Thanks for posting!

I don't know. I found the comment odd. It's possible they found a rythm that they enjoyed working and that was it. I think the difference could be that Steamboat is the kind of guy who was established before Sting so he could tell Flair if he wanted to do something different and push the envelope. Sting was made by Flair and likely had a high degree of respect for Flair to the point that he went with whatever Flair wanted.

I think some of it may have been that Sting's offense he used in other matches didn't suit Flair, so they kept it minimalist. I mean Sting never used his dive, his top rope splash, the German Suplex, the rolling Liger kick etc..when he worked Flair.

He was. Though those monster heels vs. babyface matches are few and far between in today's wrestling, I think any wrestler should look at Sting's matches for an outline of how to put together a match like that.

I'm almost certain Cena did just that when he had that great program with Umaga at the start of 2007.

This is never pointed out, but Sting was incredibly agile for a man his size. When he was in his prime he probably weighed around 250-260 and was flying over the top rope.

Definitely, he was a hell of an athlete, I recall his dive over the top rope at Starrcade 88 when he teamed with Dusty against the Road Warriors, it was incredible for a guy his size.

I have. It was a very good match. They really made Regal look strong during that match. He dominated with Sting getting the comeback in the end. Regal was completely underutilized in WCW and WWE. It's shame he never was given the chance to have a run at the top.

Once Hogan arrived in WCW there was no upward mobility for guys like Regal, and he had good mid card title pushes in WWE just like he had in WCW, but right when a WWE title push was being lined up he failed a wellness test. Without doubt one of the best to have never been a world champ in the big 2.

I really dig the new NXT taping arena on the Full Sail U campus. Might actually watch it now.

That is an astute observation about Flair and Sting

Sting's dive over the top rope in his match against Rick Rude in New Japan was tremendous. The air time that he gets for his size is insane! Supposedly this was the spot that caused Rude's career ending back injury. Here's the video of the match. The dive is around the 17:50 mark

I remember hating Regal as a kid. He was such a smarmy heel and at my age he was all that was to be hated, especially when he was feuding with my guy Sting. It is great to look back at his matches now and appreciate them for what they are. The intricacies of his style and what he put into his matches are a thing of beauty. Regal is the man!

Damn, Lita is in great shape! She sure has added a lot of ink to her body though. I find is oddly sexy!

Speaking of sexy, form TNA Knockout Roxxi is looking quite fine these days, as she does female body building competitions when she's not wrestling. TNA needs to bring her back. Great look and good worker!

She's cute.

I met Lita and Matt Hardy back when they were still together at a signing. Lita was really nice to everyone and if you were shy ,she'd get you talking. Hope she isn't always remembered for being a hoe.

Best Buy is selling a lot of their WWE blus for 7.99. I saw Royal Rumble 2012 , WM 25 , WM26 , WM 27 , Best of Smackdown 2009-2010 , Best PPV matches 2009-2010 , and the John Cena Experience!

I jumped on that the other day:up: . My blockbuster rarely has the wwe blu rays. I noticed them being stocked last week and could tell something was up. It's a shame Bret vs Shawn is still marked high though. Also I picked up the literal last copy of Wrestlemania 28.

That's Lanny Poffo!? Never knew The Genius was the Macho Man's brother!

Yes that is Leaping Lanny better known as The Genius. Now you have been eductaed. And, I remember that count out win over Hogan like it was yesterday. Someone needs to do to the spinner what Perfect did to Hogan's belt there.

Now that I think about it, I'm kind of srprised it was never mentioned once during their WWF run that they were brothers. Then again, one was a jobber, the other a main even star.

Just got done watching SmackDown... interesting to see how they are using Daniel Bryan exactly how I said they should post Wrestlemania.

Yeah, you also said the YES gimmick wouldn't work for him.

It's great to see he's gotten over his stuttering issue he had a few years back. Guess that's why he went to TNA, so that he could get Bubba to help him overcome his issue.

Every time I see Cesaro, I keep thinking it's Jason Statham in the ring.

You say that like it's a bad thing....:o

Catching up on SD now, just watched Team CoBro vs O'Neil and Young. O'Neil and Young are fabulous. Not long ago I would have had them ****canned. Now, I looking forward to seeing their matches each week. And what they have to say beforehand/afterwards. I like how they switched to such a classic finisher as the Demolition Decapitation. Tag team wrestling is starting to look a bit up in the 'E, for now.

And they follow this up with Damien Sandow?! BEST! SEGMENT! EVER!

And as much as I dislike Santino, I can see Team CoBro working out awesomely.

Every time I see Cesaro, I keep thinking it's Jason Statham in the ring.

I find that to be a good thing.
