Ant-Man Paul Rudd is Ant-Man

Could be nearly exactly the same with a different Ant-Man. They could theoretically bring Pym and Lang together into one character.

Considering that the plot was all about Pym passing on the torch to Lang, I'm pretty sure that cutting one or the other makes it no longer the exact same story.

No idea how accurate his intel is but he's certain Rudd is playing Scott Lang. I'm hoping he's Pym though. Either way, Paul rocks and I hope they lock down Rashida Jones to play Janet. She'd make a great Wasp.

Well, here's the thing, and my take on it:

If Rudd plays Lang, and we're still getting the "veteran/mentor" Pym and "padawan" Lang story that Wright/Cornish have been promising from the beginning, then I could see some method to the madness here. Namely: if Lang joins the Avengers as Ant-Man, then Pym is still free to join as....

Giant Man.

And I like that direction a lot. It would look more like the classic 616 Avengers. That's one thing people keep forgetting about this whole Ant-Man shindig: Ant-Man represents only the smallest portion of Hank Pym's career. He is FAR better known as Giant-Man and, to a lesser extent, Yellowjacket.

I don't like nor trust Faraci. But i do find it odd they haven't named him yet.

Yeah, I definitely don't want to see Janet become Scott Lang's love interest, especially if the purpose was just to dodge the most iconic dysfunctional relationship in Marvel Comics.

Instead, I'd hope that Lang would get someone like Dr. Erica Sondheim as a love interest --- someone who makes sense to *his* story instead of Hank's.

Well, if in case Rudd IS Lang, let the speculation run who will be Pym. (I myself want him for Pym, but I can go with the flow).

Seemed like Wright had him in mind to begin with, but I dot doubt your statement either. So that being said give me Aaron Paul, anyone from Spartacus, NPH, and lot of other people in the McU!! By they're doing a damn fine job without my help haha.
