Granted, it's decent to have an interest and whatever, but on occasion the **** gets annoying. I know two guys here on my team at work, and while they're cool and what not, one of them constantly talks about golf, the other constantly talks about alcohol. Neither topic is of the utmost interest to me, but I keep up the conversation if we're just chilling. But I'm talking about as far as pastimes outside of work, the one dude manages to bring every subject back around to how much he needs to improve his golf game and how everyone else sucks, while the other manages to turn any conversation into how awesome it would be if we did *insert activity* while drunk. Now I like to talk about cars, NCAA, strip clubs, and poker for the most part. They can't wrap their heads around it, except for the strip club perhaps.

One of my frie....well now ex-friends recently got involved with these frat boy types(though they're not actually frat boys,. they just like to pretend they are) in college. Most of their convesrsations consist parting and drinking .For instance how much they drink, what they drink, and when they are going to drink and party next.

Anytime I or any of my other friends tried to strike up a conversation about anything other than drinking and partying they would do exaclty what you co-workers did, bring it right back around partying and drinking.

I and a few of my other friends just couldn't stand him or his new found peers any longer so we discontinued any contact with him....I kind of hope he dies from alcohol poisoning.

I hate people who are so obsessed with sports, that they don't even realize what is happening in the world.
I hear about fantasy football, and wonder why some people who are obsessed with aren't considered geeks.
Most can't participate in the sport, cause they're too fat or too skinny, and that' all they talk about.
It's really sad.

People with one-track logic rile me up more than people with limited interests. One-track logic is like, the same background noise in everything they say and think. I can hear it, and it bothers me...

My workplace doesn't have cubicles. It's a UPS parts warehouse and I pull orders, ship packages, and whatnot.

The only time I sit on my ass when I'm driving to and from work

I plan on joining intramural rugby when the weather is warmer, or whenever they form teams.
