I know. Something about its seems very orignial in terms of Superhero movie names as well as very familar.

Plus, Gotham City is almost as iconic as Batman himself.

I'm writing a dissertation about Gotham City and the title is Gotham: The Urban Battle of Good vs Evil [yeah I know... show off ]

I'd be exhilarated if Nolan's third bat-film would be titled Gotham t:

I listed those names that were ranked 6 or higher on a 10 point scale and that was meant as a serious suggestion.

Wouldn't it be something if one of these names is the one that gets picked.


So tell Mr. Nolan what the name should be.

I should have put an "Other" option but please post you suggestion if you don't like anyone of the names above.

I voted for "Shadow of the Bat". If this third film is indeed supposed to wrap things up and make the franchise a trilogy, then it fits nicely. It shows that Batman has taken back control of Gotham City from the criminals(ensuring the city's protection) and that he has his cast his shadow over the city for years to come.

If anything, those two titles would be better suited for the 2nd film, as from the sound of it, Batman will be facing some very tough times. I see the 3rd film as Batman being triumphant and securing Gotham City. Actually, has Batman Triumphant been mentioned? Wasn't that title once actually thrown around for a Batman film?
