That comparison is not accurate in this case.
The 'shell' for the H2 [what Ratchet is] and the H3 may say Hummer but they are built on existing GM truck/SUV platforms. The H2 uses a modified GMT820 platform {the platform is also used for the Chevy Tahoe & GMC Yukon} - meaning it's essentially a large truck. It's nothing to sneeze at mind you as the H2 is still a fairly capable vehicle - it's just not an HMMWV.
The H1 is largely identical to the HMMWV though there are still some differences.
