at this point i'm pretty sure the g1 cartoon sound isn't going to be in the movie or game. i know it's a bummer but i love the new sounds too. it sounds like what hundreds of moving parts would probably sound like.

I would be more concerned about Prime not being in the images above because he is dead, rather than climbing Mt. Everest. But I am avoiding spoilers on the script, so not even going to research it.

And the one of Frenzy with the the thing start scenes with, not sure what it is called, is kinda funny!

One of the writers and Don Murphy both said the classic transformers sound would be in the film. Harry Knowles said the classic transformers sound was in the footage of the special screening event in New York a few months back. I'm sure some form of the classic sound will be in the movie.

Whatchu talkin about? It is there. Watch the game trailer again. You can hear it when Optimus is transforming. It is real metallic. Put your speakers up and drown everything else out.
