I don't know if this has been mentioned or not, but has anyone noticed that Prime looks like Michael Bay?

i noticed that too, but i didn't wanna say anything because people might actually start thinking that they actually based Prime's face on Bay's. i think he looks like Bay in that shot only though. he looks nothing like Bay in the shot where his battle shield covers his mouth near the end of the trailer.

Hahahaha, the scary thing is. Prime does look like Bay, LOL.

Yeah...we noticed it a long time ago when Primes face first appeared...with and without battlemask on.

They also said he looked like Jeremy Irons.

Meh... who cares. The bots all still look like Metal Root Monsters (as a friend of mine put it). But the trailer still rocked. And the movie looks pretty good... less Michael Bay "dumb" and a little more Spielberg-ish smart (at least in my opinion)-- a perfect marriage I guess.

At this point Megatron can stick out a long ooze-dripping Alien-esque inner mouth and lick Megan Fox on the cheek for all I care........ wait a minute, actually that would be kinda cool.

What was made it "less Micheal Bay dumb"? I mean it was just action clips with typical, cliche popcorn movie dialogue in between. I think CFlash is starting to lower his guard. Never thought I'd see the day.

It's like the end of Planet of the Apes. But instead of the Lincoln Memorial statue having an ape-face it's Optimus Prime with a Michael Bay-face.

Walt Disney was the basis for the sorcerer in Fantasia, and Brad Bird was the basis for Syndrome in The Incredibles. Directors have been used for the likeness of characters in animation as an inside joke by the animators for ages, this is nothing new. Therefore, you get a resounding "So what?" from yours truly. I personally think it's awesome.

no, no. i'm not a hater by any means, rest assured that i will be celebrating Independence Day in the movie theater. i do have some reservations about a few of the robot designs, but nothing that will stop me from seeing the movie about 14 times.

i just noticed the likeness when i saw that pic of prime.

but seriously, other than the eyes being a little farther apart on Prime, its pretty much dead on.
