Animation Pixar's Elio (June 20, 2025)

We're going to be seeing a lot more Toy Story, Cars, Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Inside Out sequels than we originally thought.

I want to see

A Bug's Life 2: A Bug's Death
The Good Dinosaur 2: The Bad Dinosaur

:)

Sequels are so 2010s.

Live-action remakes, baby!
Are we all ready for Finding Nemo with the actors' faces superimposed on the fish?

I've gotta say, I was bracing myself for that one if it's true. Ratatouille is one of the most beloved Pixar movies and if they're making a Coco 2 there's no way this would have been safe.

Even though I've enjoyed most of the Pixar sequels and count Toy Story 2 and 3 as some of their best films in general, it's really a shame that it's come to this.

Honestly, with the popularity of something like “The Bear”, I could sort of see them doing a commentary on workplace culture and trying to do what you love but getting burnt out and going into panic attacks from being overworked and trying to please everyone, and find out that everything is not always sunshine and rainbows all of the time.

The first movie was about discovering that you’re good at something that you love, being true to yourself and finding the joy in it. That seems like the next logical step to take with a sequel. I mean, it worked for Inside Out 2 and Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
