Playstation Home Official Thread

The selectable cache is brilliant. Can't wait for the update.

i went on ps home once during the first few weeks. i found it pretty boring, wasnt much to do. Has it improved recently? this flying thing im hearing about kinda has me intrigued to go back on it.

Tho one thing i wish they did was go with a cartoonish avatar thing instead of the whole realism look. I just think the avatars from xbox 360 wouldve been fun to see walkin around in ps home.

Since the first few weeks of the Beta, there has been a ton of new spaces added. Many of them feature mini games (Resistance 2 and Infamous are just two examples). I don't venture into Home on a regular basis, but I give Sony credit for bringing it a long way recently

do you have to own the games to venture into those spaces, like infamous and resistance ones youve mentioned

No you don't, The only one I think you do have to own is the Namco Museum one, you can enter the space, you just won't be able to play the arcade games unless you have the demo or the full game, you can pretty much go anywhere you want in HOME!!!:D:up:

Me and kingman hung out for about an hour in Home the other day. It was more fun than I thought it'd be.

What's the supposed to mean exactly?

That hanging out with you is about as exciting as this!!!

I meant in terms of Home, but I realised that I have also insulted your honor, good sir.

Notice he acknowledges the insult, but doesn't apologize or correct it. Face it King, Electro doesn't like you and thinks you have cooties....and smell funny. Electro's a jerk :(.

home is kinda annoying, its just like constant dling and installing stuff

I apologise to no man!

But we've got a load of cool movie costumes. I do wish we'd catch up Space wise though.

We also get the chance to win a tomato head as shown above :p

We're also expecting the Pirate Ship apartment very soon.

I've been a long time 360 owner, so could someone that has had experience with both systems tell me how PSN stacks up against Xbox Live? Like do a lot of people have headsets? Is it easy to find lobbies with a lot of people? That kind of stuff.

Online play is a huge selling point for me. :P

Well its a mixed bag. For free, PSN gives you a "Not-quite-as-good-but-still-good" online experience. Few people use headsets though its certainly increased since launch. Easy of finding friends differs from game to game. For something like Burnout Paradise, its a dream, but then Killzone 2 or somemthing else can cause frustration trying to get into a game with friends.

You're still getting a load of awesome online games like Resistance 2, Killzone 2, and soon to be Uncharted 2 etc that makes the service more than worth it, but XBL definately provides a better service as it were.

A little birdy has informed me that 1.3 in due this Thursday and the trophy room is due in early 2010 ;)

So i just saw Gamer...anyone else think that some parts of the film remind you of Home?

So far I know that we're getting it but I don't know about other regions
