The Dark Knight Poll: Favorite moment from the TDK Trailer.

I'm just excited to have a Batman/Joker showdown, one on one, in the middle of Gotham, with no one else around. It's like a duel in the old Wild West. It's like Holmes and Moriarty meeting at Reichenbach Falls.

Hell yes, I was about to mention a cowboy movie duel!

*camera zooms on Joker's evil eyes*
*camera zooms on Batman's eyes* *he narrows them*
*camera shows Batman's hand reaching for a weapon*
*camera shows a close-up of Joker's grinning lips, his grin is getting wider*

Etc etc. :woot: With some nice old western background music.

Or a Holmes and Moriarty showdown, yes! They take the plunge into the depths, strangling each other to death (or so it seems) as they fall! Just using their bare hands to finish the other guy off. Now that's an old-school duel from 1893!

i agree.
batman destroys hes truck. joker comes out like a maniac and very angry and start to shoot at him. batman is calm. joker screams: come on hit me.

batman starts driving and then he changes hes mind and does a 180.

It's going to be so awesome to see that scene. If I had one pick of a scene to watch right now out of the whole movie early... it would be that one. The "showdown" scene....

Man, Im totally psyched for their confrontation. I hope they actually make Joker look formidable in hand to hand combat. Maybe have him swing a knife around like a mad man! Whatever happens, it's gonna be EPIC!!!! :hoboj:

I love it all. Can't wait to see what that scene with the Joker's head hanging out of the cop car is all about.

That was a tough decision lol. But "Hit Me!" definitely stands above the rest.

Good to see that the "power slide" part is rightfully winning the vote. For me, that mere two-seconds worth of footage showed us so much about the relationship between Batman and the Joker. That is going to be one hell of a face-off. After Heath's death, it didn't seem possible that I could ever look forward to this film again -- how wrong was I.

My favorite moment in the trailer has to be when he does the final clap and when you hear Joker say " Let's put a smile on that face. " and the laugh that follows. Ledger has a great laugh for this part.

^^ yea ive been trying to do that laugh myself, i lose my voice half the time haha

(i wonder if its really his too, thats impressive then)

Again, why isn't the Joker firing the bazooka part on the poll?

i really loved how the Alfred/Bruce dialog seemed to totally set the mood for the film

Yeah, the trailer is brilliant in it's own right. It shows what the movie is about, while making hardcore fans like us drool.

1. "Hit Me" Scene
2. Bazooka Scene
3. Window/ Why So Serious? Scene

Part when the Joker says "I believe whatever doesn't kill you simply makes you stranger"

Yes I know.

My 2 favorite parts aren't even options

I enjoyed seeing Joker speeding away in a cop car while hanging his head out the window.

Extremely interested in how Joker breaks outta prison and steals a cop car.

I really like the shot where Gordon axes the Bat signal...

There's just so much speculation based on that ONE shot as to how Gordon and Bat's partnership went sour.

Does Gordon lose a loved one (wife) or does Bats inadvertantly kill Commissioner Loeb? :wow:

Either way, they make an interseting sub-plot to the film

Hit me and Hello Commissioner scenes.

Me too, its one of the things I didnt like about B89's ending, but in a way its understandable, I really dont think the Joker should be able to stand toe to toe with Batman. However, since we've seen him with knives, machine guns and bazookas, hopefully he can match Bats with sheer craziness...

Isn't there a comic series where Gordon and Batman haven't been on speaking terms for a while? Was it The Dark Knight Returns? Hmm, can't quite remember, but I wonder if there was any inspiration drawn from that.
