Pretty much the whole trailer.

I would say " Ahhh a little fight in ya, I like that" as well as the opening monologue..as he starts to say "You've changed things...

I don't think a trailer has ever hyped me for a film so much.

You realise now we can say that the Dark Knight comes out THIS year? :woot:

Oh man, I loved the way they ended it off with the Batpod powersliding right passed The Joker; the camera work was so well done and it just felt like the real meat of the whole trailer and I loved every second of it. I didn't really like the final clip of The Joker because it's pretty much the same as while the Batpod slid past him; it's the exact same but instead it's just a close-up without the Batpod in the clip.

Were the Batpod slides and misses Joker. He looks back.

I go crazy ever time I see that footage.

:hoboj:

Why isn't there a choice of the part where he fires the bazooka?

Did anyone get a little worried on the very last shot the way the Batpod makes those awful grinding noises? I was like... oh oh ... Batman is messing up his ride against the cement right now =P

Skidding Joker wouldn't have killed him. Bats was a ***** there. :o

Yep, cause he can't kill.

Wait, wait, wait... so you mean the story behind that scene was Batman speeding down the street like crazy, Joker poping up out of nowhere in the middle of the street, Batman having to skid around him to avoid hitting him because of the no kill rule?

Who seconds that? Because when I saw it, I just kind of assume ... oh... um, they just wanted to show a cool 180 skid, like they did with the Tumbler, and Batman is probably trying to get a better angle for those rocket launchers or whatever he's got on his pod. =P

I assumed that at this point Batman wants to kill Joker, but in the last moment he decides not to. I hope I'm wrong, though, cause I'de prefer it if they were beating each other up and then Gordon has to persuade Batman not to do it (Hush style).
More personal and dramatic this way.

I always assumed it was a test between the 2 characters of who would "break" first. Like those typical scenes where you'd see two cars speeding straight for each other until one eventually turns the wheels the other way.

In this case, Joker didn't break a sweat. Bats lost. :(

Ooh, never thought of that. It'd be great if it's what you said.
But if it is, this scene has to compete with the respective Rambo III and Last Action Hero scenes. You can't beat Ahnuld.

True. Maybe he's secretly in love with Joker.

Well, that's obvious, I mean, come on.

Heh, that's the best gay joke about Ledger as Joker I've seen on these boards.

Well, either way, I like all those theories from you guys a lot better than my initial thoughts =) Batman playing chicken with Joker, or Batman deciding to kill Joker (roadkill style ;) ) and then changing his mind at the last second are both great.

Damn, now I'm even more pumped for the movie! *cry*

I stole it, but yah it's awesome =) The part I like is that it's funny once... but if you keep watching it replay over and over you just dissolve into helpless giggles.

Aw, don't worry, if it helps you, this movie will most probably suck.
Sorry, I can't even say that with a straight face. This movie will probably rock. I feel sorry for all of us who are pumped thus far. But we'll live. Will Smith style.

i agree.
batman destroys hes truck. joker comes out like a maniac and very angry and start to shoot at him. batman is calm. joker screams: come on hit me.

batman starts driving and then he changes hes mind and does a 180.

That's how I saw it, too. I'm dying to know what happens next! After an amazing shot like that, you just know something spectacular has to happen next... Or are they just gonna stare at each other for two straight minutes, then do something? :woot:

Since Batman obviously doesn't run the Joker over, what will he do? Get off the Batpod and walk straight toward him? Joker's still armed. Has he run out of bullets, perhaps?

BatmanFanatic, you sure made lots of posts! *waves* Welcome to the Hype!
